I have had the “bagsket” on my to do list for a while now – thanks for the prompt!
I can’t believe we are in the final days … I’m going to be lost without my morning inspiration. The drawstring bag is perfect for the hard to wrap gifts/
The Bagsket tutorial looks so great! Thank you so much for gathering this neverending stream of ideas for craftiness.
These will be perfect to wrap all the gifts I’ve made.
Very environmentally friendly. The unlined drawstring bag is so simple, and I’m sure many of us have tons of fabric scraps to pull from! Another great day of tutorials.
Love, love, love the bagsket! I will be wipping up several this weekend. Thanks for such great links. I have really enjoyed making some holiday gifts this year.
doesn’t the bagsket scream yarn stash??? another thing i want to make for ME! yikes. but i will somehow work it into gift GIVING! i’m anticipating the wellness kit and wondering if this is involved???
Fantastic tutorials! Need to try some of these for kids in my life. Thank you!!
These are great! Thanks for posting so many awesome ideas this month! It’s been helpful with all the holiday gifts
Great tutorials! Definitely going to make up a ton of drawstring gift bags this Christmas! I posted several other drawstring bag tutorials on my blog, so go check them out for added inspiration.
Again, thanks for you continued ideas for making the perfect Handmade Holiday!
with friendship,
Lisa
These are beautiful tutorials. I think I may add a few for Christmas gift wrapping rather than use paper to wrap gifts. Boy I’d better get my butt in gear, my list of projects keeps getting longer and longer.
Great bags. A number of years ago I used up some novelty print fabrics and made bags that we have been using as gift wrap for birthdays and Christmas. I need to make some more from some of these designs. Thanks.
I love these bags — my girls love to have bags and have never met a bag or purse they didn’t love instantly. These will make easy and much loved Christmas presents!
Kristen’s fabric choice is so cute!
And that drawstring basket combo is adorable. That would make the perfect reusable grocery bag for me. I’m usually rounding my kids into the car, so things toppling out of my bag are an aggrivation. That would curb them!
i love these!!! the basket one is such a cute idea!
What fantastic bags and I agree with the other commenters that they would be ideal for alternative Christmas wrapping. x
AWESOME! THANKS, a present in a present!
Suzanne’s Bagsket Tutorial is simply adorable!!!
The fabric in that second picture is so sunny, it makes me want to make one.
I love the Bagsket!!!! What a cute idea. I need to find more sewing time so I can make one of these.
I love the bagsket tut, so many things to make – I think I’m into January or February with my list…
So pretty!
A perfect way to wrap gifts!
These are awesome!!!
Yay! I am so glad to have the drawstring backpack to make for my nephews!
I’ve been searching for a tutorial on drawstring bags. Thank you! What perfect timing!
Both are very gorgeous and fun bags! I think Kristen’s choice of fabric would be perfect for a little boy’s drawstring bag. Thank you so much for posting these!
Perfect, perfect, perfect! I love the first tutorial! Definitely in my future!
Ah, the Bagsket has been on my to-make list since bag month!
I’ve made one of the drawstring bags (one of the padded ones) – AWESOME tutorial. The bagsket is next on my to do list.
I want to make the bagsket! I love it! Again, I want this gift for mememe!!! Let me see, is there anyone else on my list?!!!
Thanks again for such great ideas!!!
I just have to tell you how much I am enjoying your holiday tutorials!!! this blog is one of the first ones I read everyday now–just to see what wonderful project you have highlighted for your readers that day! thanks! ps. I am looking for a good tutorial on how to sew a hot water bottle cozy…?
Can we all agree that Suzanne and Amy rock? I have an Amy Butler pattern and the fabric already to make a bag of my own, but I’ve been putting other projects ahead of it. Time for me!
Yay for drawstring bags for wrapping gifts!
What a fun way this would be to wrap gifts!!
Great tutes today!

Well, that just reminded me that I have a half finished basket somewhere around here…

I’m excited about the upcoming holidays, but I’m so sad that these wonderful November craft ideas are ending! I discovered this highly addictive website on November 1 and I can’t go to bed at night without checking the idea of the day! Thanks for so many wonderful ideas–how do I choose?!?
Don’t end!!! These ideas are too great and I love the fabric suggestions too!
Lovin’ it! =]
I’ve really enjoyed these tutorials. It will be sad when they come to an end. Thank you for all your time and work in putting these together.
Love the Bagskit. I’ll have to give it a a try.
I’m making lots of little things for my daughter this year: bean bags, felted food, doll clothes, etc.
Woo-Hoo drawstring bags for everything!
Love those bags!!
I had to go buy some cool new fabric to make a dance bag for my daughter after seeing these bags. Wonderful job gals! You have done well!
Love the bagsket tutorial! What a cool bag. I’ve bookmarked it. I love the Bedbug bag pattern too. I’ve always wanted to give that one a try.
The “bagsket” looks like the perfect thing to tote around a knitting project! And it’d be quick to just shove it in there, pull the drawstring, and go!
Oh I love love love this! The tutorials this month have been fab – thanks!
love it love it love it
Love this one! I have only made the plain jane drawstring bags and for some reason they just did not seem “right”! I need to try my hand at a lined drawstring bag! Thanks so much for all of these great tutorials!!
