Totally love the owls. Thanks for the link to the artists’ blog.
Lovely lovely stuff today. You SewMamaSew ladies keep amazing me. So many great links and such dependable posting!! Thank you! And I’m finding so many great blogs through your blog. Have a very merry Christmas!
How wonderful! Hope you and yours have a wonderful (and relaxing) holiday!
I love all of these! We actually have something just like the farm that we got in France for our daughter. It has the inside made to look like a barn, things like flowers under the windows outside, a very convenient handle for carrying.. and the sides zip up with velcro at the top. Makes it very easy to take with us. I always thought it would be cool to make one and am impressed that someone did! And the owls are just plain COOL! (thinking they could also be easily adapted to make bats for Halloween!!) I love them!
Thank you again for the great ideas – and links! I had to add LucyKatecreations to my blogrolls – so colorful and fun! Happy holidays!
I love that reindeer. What a cute expression on his face.
What a cute mitten. I will have to keep it in mind when I make my ornaments next year. Oh and the owls are adorable!
thank you so much for all your links for things to make
I just love the mitten ornament today and will be making a few of those.
thanks again
Kathie
Your blog has been a life saver for me this Christmas! I love to do handmade gifts for Christmas, but never have enough ideas. This year was super easy! I’ve made tons of rice therapy bags, aprons, crayon holders, hand warmers, etc. The printable tags finish the gift off beautifully. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to post all of these wonderful ideas. Merry Christmas to you!
Tammy
I printed off the instructions for the mittens but upon seeing them again I had to go back and check. Those have got to be the ornaments for next year.
I love the black mitten! Why didn’t I think of that??
Amy’s owls are adorable. Thank you so much for the great inspirations and ideas for gifts! I’ll be sad when the month is over. I’ve looked forward to checking out your blog everyday.
Oh those owls are adorable. Thank you for all the ideas and tutorials
Thanks so much for all of the fabulous holiday ideas! My daughters and I have really enjoyed checking in every day to see what’s new. We’ve made aprons (morphing several different tutorials into a design that worked for us!), felt ornaments (once again, starting with the posted tutorial, then going our own way!)…I’m really excited about all of the ideas, and the links to crafty blogs.
I know this must be a labor of love for you — thanks for sharing it with all of us!
Love the “whimseys” and that’s exactly what they are!
Barbara
I’m looking forward to lots of great sewing and crafting inspiration here in the New Year. Thanks for working so hard to make this such a great, usable site! Winning some new fabric would be great, too!
Love the idea of making a soft ornament from a kid’s drawing. My kids love making ornaments for the tree.
just gorgeous, all of it! love the owls and the farmhouse. what a lucky little one to have a mom who sews!
The owls are absolutely adorable!

ok those owls are adorable!!
That mitten is SO cute!
The reindeer on Michal’s ornament reminds me a bit of Max from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” It’s so cute!
I love the play farm. I’d really like to try something similar for next year. It reminds me a lot of a favorite toy from when I was a child.
I am continually so inspired by the things I see here. I’ll be visiting often in the next year as I’ve dubbed it “The Year of Craft”!
Thanks for all you do and have a wonderful holiday!
The owls from Lucykate crafts are so adorable! My daughter loves them and wants some. I love the idea posted on Lucykate crafts of the embellished pillows with a pocket for your owl friend. So sweet!
These are all adorable!
Love this ornament. Really cute and it looks like it would go pretty fast. Happy Holidays!
Thank you for your kind words about my barn and blog – and to everyone else, too. Hopefully my daughter will like it, too – she likes playing with her farm animals.
Those ornaments and owls are adorable.
the play barn…. CUTE!!!
Love those mitten ornaments!!
That mitten ornament has just been added to my MUST DO list!!!
The owls are just adorable! And that barn… wow!
I absolutely adore the fabric barn. That is one lucky little child that will be receiving it for
Christmas. I also love the felted mitten ornament.
Wow! I love the barn! I wonder where she got the wooden animals? Otherwise, this is a great gift. Thanks for posting this.
That play barn is spectacular.
What a cute soft barn!! Great site as always…………..
i love love love those little owls. i just saw them somewhere on flickr (could have been sewmamasew, can’t recall) they are just adorable. remind me a little of those little gremlins from that 80′s movie! on another note, just wanted to say thank you so very much for all of your inspiration, tutorials, good cheer, etc. happy holidays!
Those owls are so adorable!!!
Thank you for the nice comments about the barn.
Susan Fisher: The wood animals are made by KidKraft. I had a quick look at their website and it looks like you can only get them as part of a wood barn set – but you might be able to order them individually as spare parts, as it lists them as parts too. I hope that helps.
I LOVE your blog. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Great project ideas not only for Christmas. THANKS!!!
Very cute owls. Love ‘em.
Merry Christmas! Though I’m back at work now, I’m still considering this to be part of Christmas 2007. At our house, we like to celebrate (even if just in a small way) each of the 12 days of Christmas. I love the ideas on your blog. Thank you!
Love the soft ornie/fabric crayon idea, and love the owls. Thank you soooo much for the well of inspiration that we can dip our cups into!
