Doll Quilt 3 |
Maritza adds, “I didn’t use a pattern per se. This particular doll quilt is a smaller version of a quilt top that I had been working on (that I need to pick up and finish) which you can see here.”

Wow – the large version of this quilt is VERY impressive! I love the play of all the different squares and the simplicity of the setting. VERY nice!
How cute! I love the little block in the bottom left corner.
I love all of the different colors in this quilt. It would be great for a baby to have some ‘tummy time’ on because they would love the contrasts and different colors and visual textures!
Adorable! Neat way to show off your favorite fabrics.
Very cute! Ahhh, the satisfaction of using up all the beloved scraps in our stash.
I love scrappy quilts surrounded with lots of crisp white cotton.
Very simple and cute. Perfect or a baby or a babydoll!
Very nice job indeed!
Fun use of novelty fabrics. That totally looks like Grimace in the bottom left hand corner.
How cute! Love the white borders and sashing!
I keep seeing all these cute doll quilts and wondering how they might “translate” into full-sized quilts. I love this one – thanks for sharing both the large and small versions.
Very fun prints in each square. I love that raindrop fabric and the large number 5.
Adorable! I’m being inspired to tackle my first quilt and I think it will be doll-sized….
Great peek-a-boo design. I love the quilting, too.
I like this. It looks so simple but with each look closer you see more great details. The squares are wonderful.
Cute! A lot of doll quilts have been featured. Is that because they take less time and effort?
Oh!! It’s brilliantly simple!Lovely!!
Fabulous…the large quilt is going to be wonderful when finished!
such a simple and effective way to feature interesting, precious fabrics
This small quilt is very cute–crisp, clean lines and colors. But I have to say that the large quilt is spectacular.
I love how the color really pops against the white on this quilt! So nice.
Why are white / pale colours so beautiful… but don’t last 5 seconds in this house…
I love this quilt as well as the larger version. Both styles really let the fabric be the centerpiece of the design!
Good project for scraps! I like the framing quilting.
Beautiful! What a great way to use little leftover bits of things that you love!
Hooray! Maritza is a color genius.
I love this!!! I love the fabric she used, and this is such a great idea for scraps.
More doll quilts! I just love them. So inspirational.
Your quilt is very nice! Great job!
love the simplicity of this quilt. However, it is the quilting that really finishes it off. LOVE IT!!
Oh, I love this!
Simple designs are so appealing. I love the clean crisp look of her doll quilt
i love the white background! i think it allows the prints to shine through and really just create such a nice graphic effect.
i love this! now i want to go make one!
The quilting design that frames the quilt is so wonderful. It creates a subtle but irresistible perception of the quilt popping in and out, like it’s 3-D. I also like the little windows of color–great choice of fabrics…
i love squares…so i totally am into this quilt! there are some really great fabrics in there that i want to track down now!
I love this design! It’s similar to something I’ve been wanting to do with my scrapbooking supplies!
I love this tiny quilt. The squares are just right for a small quilt.
Both quilts are great!
Love the color pop against the colors and prints.
Very pretty quilt. I love how the white sets off the patterns in the blocks.
Lovely quilt.
I love the simpleness and the randomosity(?) of the different squares of fabric! This is probably one of my favorite styles! I really like simple quilts like this!
I love this style of quilt! If I ever make one, I think this would be the first style I would make!
Love it!
How lovely. I have been totally awed by the quilts featured this month. What incredible talent is out there. Thank you all for sharing and inspiring.
This is both beautiful and fun!
I loved this quilt the first time I saw it, but forgot about it until now. Thanks for the reminder!
This is one of the most interesting quilt designs. So much color and the white edging is beautiful. Great quilt!
how adorable!
With friendship,
Lisa
I love the bigger version too!
Loving her critters…and her quilts too!
I loved the large version! This is a great idea for using those cute fabrics, thank you for sharing
This is adorable, but the large one is just amazing!! Another idea for the file…
This quilt is wonderful.
Wow, inspired by me? Thanks! And it’s lovely, so I’m especially flattered…
