Kathy Mack has a wonderful way with design, color and all things “quilting.” We’re sure you’ve run across her Pink Chalk Studio blog, her pencil roll in Last-Minute Patchwork & Quilted Gifts, her original accessory patterns or something else amazing and beautiful designed by Kathy’s hands. Kathy is based in Washington State and writes that her designs are, “Inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the daily chaos of family life…” We asked Kathy to write about sewing and quilting in an upcoming article for Quilting Month. Visit Pink Chalk Studio and then come back for more! |

Loved the table runner…great idea for some of those larger print beautiful fabrics. Thanks.
I really enjoy her blog…I’m looking forward to reading her article.
Oh, YAY! I love the colors in her work!
Can’t wait until the article! It looks like she’s sewing up something very pretty!
I have been drooling over that pencil roll ever since I saw it in Joelle’s book–too sweet!
I’ve been enjoying your blog for several months! Also love your pencil roll and am looking forward to making one soon. Everything you do is lovely!
I’ve been reading Kathy’s blog for several months now and I really enjoy it, she has a great eye for combining colors and patterns.
Love the blog – the plant markers are really cute!
Seriously love the pink/white stripe quilt. Fantastic!
Welcome, Kathy!
The first picture of the quilt with the pink and white fabrics–oh my. I have been looking for inspiration to get moving on a (rather ambitious) project: quilts for my daughters’ matching twin beds. I have found it! Really beautiful work.
Loving this lady!!
Kathy has a fantastic eye for color and design. I’m so jealous!

Love the pink/white quilt!
Pink Chalk Studio (like stitch in dye) is one of my favorites. Her tutorials and projects are so inspiring and yet not intimidating. She makes it all look so enticing… I tried the pencil roll last summer and had a great time making it. I felt proud (and a tiny bit reluctant) to give it away.
I love the Note Taker…. very neat!
