Thank you, as always, for the wonderful tips! I can do upholstery, but not slipcovers… This is motivating me to give it another go.
This cover is so beautiful – the piping especially adds that important level of detail to make it look so perfect. I have a similar glider (though no arm cushions or foot rest) that I’m thinking of recovering in some of the new Amy Butler deco weight fabric. The only thing holding me back is my anti-foam bias. I really feel better about natural materials but haven’t found a non-foam option for chair cushions. Does anyone have any ideas?

What perfect timing! I’m redoing my daughter’s room from baby to little girl, but I didn’t want to take out her glider yet. She’s my last, and the thought of getting rid of the baby rocker was more than I could bear. So now I’ll just update it

I wish I had a chair that needs recovering! And the courage to recover one by myself. This turned out so beautiful. I might consider charging people to sit in it – it’s THAT pretty! hehehe
I am definitely trying this! I have (almost) the same rocker, and after 4 years and 3 kids on cream cushions, its looking a little worn. I can’t wait to give it a makeover!!!
Oh my gosh!!!!! I cannot even tell you just how much I want to do this to my daughters old glider. I am going to have to think about it. Oh it is just so cute!!!!!!

about the same size & shape, bowback etc…
