I’ve always wanted to try re-covering a lampshade but so far haven’t had the courage. Maybe this is just the push I need!
I figured out how to make the perfect bag from a fat quarter! I have the detailed tutorial on my blog’s Sunday Etsy Club for this week!

I love the table runner. Good job Lorrie. Lalli, do you have a tutorial on the string of birds next to the paper holder? I would definitely buy one.
Hello Christine,
Thanks a lot for your comment. Well, I don’t have a tutorial for the string birds, but would definetely plan to make one. Thanks again for your sweet words.
i love the curtains. I’m deciding on whether I should make some curtains to spice up the house a little.
Free Fabric Friday Fabulous!
Love love love that message board!
Loving all of these…feeling so inspired.
I heart the lined curtains and I also lust after the table runner. I am sewing this weekend for sure.
The T.P. holder is the best!! I used oil cloth to keep it cleaner and to get the T.P.
out easier. I also made it a little wider longer for out super rolls!!! This helps the
guys to remember to change the rolls because it is right there…. so they can.
Thanks a million!!!!
Love all the ideas and can’t wait to get started on some of them!
give away 4 packs of five Quilting Solids fat quarters
I’m dropping my name for the give-away (and run back to the sewingmachine for my Christmas Stockings!
The “deconstructed” wall quilt is beautiful!
I have always wanted to make curtains. Thanks for the tutorial on that. You have a few others I’d like to try as well.
I’ve made the potholders and kitchen towels last week in orange – fallish prints! They are so cute!
(Too nice to use, tho)!
Karen

I definitely need to attempt the memo board! I’m constantly sticking post its to the wall and they look completely tacky!!! A memo board would look much nicer. I’m also loving the tutorials shard in the comments, thanks everyone!!!
Help. I have been sewing for many years and now I am starting a business. To date I have just done things for friends or bartered sewing jobs for haircuts or massages. Now I am about to make curtains for a stranger. My delimia is how much do I charge? I have NO idea what this is really worth out there in the real world. Does someone know a site or another blog where I can get the info I need?
thanks
The link for the curtains no longer works – I’d really like to look at the tutorial.
