What a great idea!!! I'm not a quilter, but wonder if I could use decorative stitches (pre-programmed on my machine) instead?????

I want to try making one of these for my daughters new (Mickey Mouse) bathroom

What about using hot glue on the back? I had a florist tell me that that is what they use on the ends of saddles going on the top of grave markers to keep them from sliding off. You could apply it in straight or wavy lines and possibly more around the edges to hold them down. It's rubbery.

I wonder, also, how it has held up. I made 2 floor mats similar to this, but one with paper and the other with fabric. The process I used was much more involved and also used a few coats of sealer to make it waterproof etc. I was hoping this was a simpler way of doing the same because I can't imagine that it can hold up well.... thanks!
