The acorn and mini mittens ornaments are just too sweet! And this almond crescent cookies recipe sound like a must try!
Where to begin…Love Swallowfield, love mini-mittens!
Great projects, I just love the mini mittens!!
My, oh my–I would love to win the fabric solids. They would be quite helpful with some of the gifting and decorating projects I have planned for the next couple of months. Thanks!
Those mittens make me want to brush up on my knitting!
Great ideas!
I’m a sewer and quilter, as well as a knitter, and would love to mix those Amy Butler solids with leftover of some Amy Butler prints my daugher is using in her baby’s room!
The mittens are so cute! I used to have some like that.
The solid fat quarters are really pretty. It’s hard to find a good range of solids in light/medium colors–a lot of stores don’t even sell solids, or they have all darks/brights.
What lovely colours!
Those little house fabric ornaments gave me an idea for Grandparent gifts… to use fabric paint and have grandkids make little handprints on fabric and then sew it into keepsake ornaments for to add to every year
I have a 9 month old that will be celebrating her first Christmas and think it would be a great tradition to start with!
Love, love the acorn ornament!
I’m so glad that I found this blog. I’ve been back every day since I found it checking to see what new and exciting ideas there are. Thanks to all those who put their time and energy into this!

I am in love with the mini mittens! Do you think a beginner could do it?? Wish me luck…oh and hopefully that luck holds out since I’d love to win those quilting solids!
I love the idea of making your own Christmas ornaments! I especially love the idea of using super pretty fabric to make ornaments since they don’t use a lot of fabric and you can use up extra scraps as well. I think that they would make good gifts for my friends who have young children or pets who might worry about having fragile ornaments on the lower portions of their trees.
Those pendants from caught red handed are beautiful. Thank you for the link, I’ve bookmarked it for definite buy for Christmas presents!
Great ornament ideas. I’ve never printed on fabric before but I’m looking forward to trying it. What a great way to merge my training in graphic design with my love for sewing. Thanks!
