Free Fabric Friday!
I hope your holiday crafting is coming along. We had a full week of snow and ice here, which meant NO SCHOOL. Although we had a lot of wonderful time together, it wasn’t exactly productive. We made dozens of cookies though (and ate far too many.) My 2005 MSL cookie edition has taken up a well-earned spot on the ”Things to Save in a Fire” checklist. We made the double chocolate cookies but substituted peppermint bark for the chocolate chunks. Yum!
Anyway, this is not a cookie blog. On to the fabric. We have some great new groups in the shop:

Great selection, as usual. I love reading the forum and being new to sewing I always have more questions than answers!
I hope with time, I too, can contribute to the forum – there’s just so much I need to learn…it can be overwhelming at times.

OH, how cool! I’m so glad you posted this and the request to post on the forum this week! I never knew there WAS a forum. I’ve now registered there and answered someone’s plea for help regarding making a pet coat pattern for a friend where they didn’t quite know what size to make as this is a surprise and they can’t ask anyone to measure the dog they are making it for. Hopefully I’ve given them some help.

Awesome new fabrics! I love everything from Alexander Henry. Their fabric is almost as good as peppermint bark – yuuuum!
The Lush line is really pretty, and the peppermint bark cookies sound FANTASTIC. I’m hungry now!

Hi–how fun is this? I registered and I hope I helped someone out on how to choose a sewing machine. I really want to just say “buy a Bernina” but I resisted.

Wow, very nice new fabric… especially the ‘Lush’ line…tho I could see sewing beautiful projects with any of them.
Maybe it’s just being an overtired mother of 3 young girls OR maybe my sewing skills really are minimal but I couldn’t figure out the forum in the 3 mins or less of computer time that is mine before someone needs me. Anyway, the Darla fabric looks delicious!
