I deeply covet that fabulous green and black paisley fabric!

Cute set…love the paisley!
A great idea with the minky lining…and I have plenty of babies coming to sew for. Thanks!

Love all the baby stuff! Thanks for the tutorials!
I love this idea. The fabrics look gorgeous.
The nice thing about using fat quarters for baby gift sets is you can get prints the mother to be likes that might not be too your taste. Around here there have been quite a few looking for skull fabric items for their babies!
I love making baby items! The fabrics are so fun and vibrant, ray of sunshine, just like our little ones are!
These are great! I’m going to make some for the next baby shower I attend!
Cute!
Thanks for all of the great ideas!
These are adorable, I love all these ideas!
Oh those are beautiful! I want to make some too!!
I love those fabric choices in this project. So pretty!
=^..^=
Baby things make me happy!
Great baby gift ideas – these are needed as there are 4 friends expecting in the next month!
So cute!
I love the use of these bright colors! Especially since babies seem drawn to primary colors first. Too much pastel makes me crazy!
Oh Love this idea!
And i’m LOVING FQ month! Although i’ve been doing more planning and searching through all the links then actually sewing things! I did search my stash and set a side certain FQ’s for projects though! So many fat quarters and so many things to make!
That brown and green combination is lovely, and the items look SO soft! I once saw display for a baby crib that was brown and green and I really loved it!
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!
Miss Eyebright
This is great – and I love that fabric! Beautiful.
Lots of cute ideas!
I love fat quarters for making a cot quilt as well. A beautiful FQ witrh toning/matching BIG border makes a sweet quilt and again a great way to showcase something lovely.

That baby set is ridiculously cute!
I just want to say–I love that top fabric! I’m so glad paisley is coming back in–it’s so fun and yet elegant too.

How inspiring – certainly a better alternative to the selection found in retail baby stores.
pretty fabric
Thanks so much! I am going to try one of these tutorials out tonight!
Great ideas! I have a little one on the way, and I can’t wait till the morning sickness subsides and I have energy to sew again!
I love this idea! Our Sunday School is booming with babies right now.
So cute! Everyone around me is having babies right now so this is really helpful!
Great project!
I love your site ! Thanks for all the great posts and projects.
I love these sets. I made some bibs and burp cloths for a coworker’s baby shower and will do more for my sister who is expecting. I didn’t use the soft material on the back, but I do like that idea.
Here are mine that I made: http://lifeon19th.blogspot.com/search/label/baby
The baby gift set is adorable. I haven’t seen an entire package put together like that before. It’s an inspiration! Love the fabric choice too-
What a great gift idea…I love the fabric.
Inspiring! I’m headed to my stash right now to get something together for my daughter’s 6 month “birthday.” Need an excuse, right…?
these are great! i have a bunch of friends that are having babies lately!
Good timing
I just found out a coworker is pregnant. Time to get the baby shower gifts going!
What a great way to make unique baby gifts. Making your own opens up endless possibilities for color schemes instead of the usual pastels.
Cute ideas!! A friend of mine had a baby yesterday and I was thinking of making her a little something like this…
Green fat quarters sound nice….thanks for the chance to win!!
I love it! We’ve had FIVE sets of friends give birth to baby boys in the past two weeks — this is a great idea for how to greet them all!
This is a great way to use scraps.
I love the designs in her shop!
I think your site is amazing! I am new to sewing and crafting and I find your tutorials to be quite helpful!
Thank you for the wonderful visuals and easy to follow instructions!
Thanks, I have three prego friends and am looking forward to making fun baby projects with my fat quarters.
Love the handmade baby gift idea and it’s great to be able to use a fat quarter per item- what a great way to mix and match fun prints and not have to buy an armload!
Baby gifts are probably my favorite thing to make!
This set is really very cute. My son will love it. He is six weeks today.
Cute stuff for babies!
such neat idea and fabulous presentation.
Great ideas, thank you! Seems to be a baby boom lately with my friends, so that is quite helpful.
Baby items are what got me into sewing a year ago. All of the items suggested are very easy for a beginner to complete and very useful for any new Mom.
This is what I needed! I always am looking for great baby shower gifts to make. Thanks so much!
What an elegant gift! I can’t wait until the next baby shower!
The ideas today were incredible. I’ll need to make a set of burp cloths for here and at the grandchild’s home! Thanks, Sew, Mama, Sew!!!!

This is fabulous!! I love this idea and your fabric choice is beautiful!!
They are soo adorable~!
Oh, what nice gift ideas!
Baby gifts are probably my favorite thing to make right now – I guess because everyone I know is having a baby, plus they tend to be small items. I like to sew small items because I can get them finished. And there is nothing I love more than finishing a sewing project. Unless maybe it’s starting a sewing project.
Very cute set!!
Expecting #2 with lots of time to wait…I’ll be using up some of my fatties for these.
These are always the most fun to make – such a great and appreciated gift for new moms. Throw it in a homemade diaper bag (probably need more than a FQ for that), and they’re set!
that’s a gift any baby and mama would enjoy:) so cute
oh, green. how do i yearn for green!
I love making baby stuff! Great tutorials!

I could have used some of those darling burp cloths with my oldest son. He was very much a spitty baby and the flannel burp cloths with crocheted edges just didn’t cute it.
These are great.
Great ideas. Thanks.
Yes, these would make a wonderful gift for that new baby. I need to follow some of those tutes and see what else they have in store!

Love the green paisley. Sure makes a nice gift. Thanks to all the people posting their stashes, I was inspired to organize and fold for 4 hrs last night!
Thanks! These will be very handy the next time there’s a new baby in the family! If only I had started reading SMS a year ago when my God son was born, haha!
I need to start making baby items. Thanks for ideas

What a great idea!
Love it! Just wish I’d had these tutorials & my sewing machine last year when friends/family had a major baby boom. Oh well, I’m sure another one is just around the corner!
What a fun idea! I love the vintage burp cloths from the Flickr pictures.

I love all of these baby things! I can’t wait to try some of these projects out- 2 new nieces on the way!
love the fabric in this use b/c it is not traditional baby. great ideas too!
Thanks for the inspirations!
Love the coordinating fabrics. It’s always nice to have something very soft against a baby’s skin.
What a great way to not end up with tons of scraps of fabric…. make the gifts out of fat quarters! I’ve been making baby booties, and I bet I could get a pair easily out of a fat quarter and not have big stacks left over! These look pretty straight forward to produce, but lovely to receive!
I’ve just found your blog and website via craftzine.com. I’m looking forward to following your inspiring ideas.
Beautiful set! My project list keeps growing!
Since my son just had a baby I’m enjoying all these creative baby ideas and could certainly use the fat quarters.
