I'm wondering if the measurement for where to put the dots (6.5" from the top and .5" in) applies to the larger bag as well, or if that's just for the smaller bag?? I'm making this as a gift and need help a.s.a.p.! Thank you - it's a really cute bag, and I can't wait to finish it! I made a similar bag but with rope handles. The rope was the kind used in sash windows, which I bought from the hardware store. The tricky part was getting the rope ends to stay together.
