I remember the Christmas my Mom got me a Gingher sewing scissors and pinking shears; Iwas so excited to get this top notch set. My Mom passed away this past July and I got her sewing scissors each time I use this quality piece of equipment I have fond memories of mom sewing and always reminding us as children that these are “not for paper”.

I would love a new rotary cutter. I use mine for everything. Those both look really nice.
That 12-in-1 tool is interesting, I haven’t seen one like that before. Now I’m going to have to try to find it the next time I go to Joann’s, but of course I won’t purchase it until after this month just in case my luck changes with the random drawings.
I really love the mats too. They are too cute in those colors. The one I have is blue, and for the most part unusable thanks to putting the iron on it. (Oh what a stupid mistake I made!)

I love my soft touch scissors. Their micro-tip ones are great, too – I use one for embroidery, one by the sewing machine to snip threads… I didn’t know gingher had rotary cutters though. And those 12-in-1 tools have been on my wish list since forever!

A person can never have too many pairs of good scissors or rotary cutters. I’ve been a fan of Gingher’s for over 20 years now and those are the only kind I’ll use to cut fabric.
I have my gingher scissors and since High School graduation 1979. I had no idea they had

The view out my window is a view of anticipation, as the month has been teasing me with spring, while 2 blasts of old man winter have tried to squelch my sweet peas, spinach, lettuce and radishes they are yet holding on to life. One more day of coldness here before I jump out and continue in my soil amending, until then sewing up a couple UFO’s (un finished objects) from a couple weekend classes that I took. I love my Gingham rotary cutter. It is so smooth to work with. All of my sewing scissors are Fiskars. I won my first pair in a Easter dress sewing contest about 25 years ago. They still work like a charm. I hope to win something else from Fiskars.

I have been using the Fiskars SoftTouch Scissors for a few years now and love them. I won’t use any others! They are great if you ever get cramps in your hand when using scissors, as I used to get.

Hey, I have just begun quilting and I love the fiskar’s cutting mat and rotary cutter. That new cutter really looks sleak and to be able to put my name on it when I go to quilt classes and it has its own case, WOW! I will be looking for this as soon as I get out of my foot cast. Can’t drive nor shop with it. LOL
I have seen the quilting tool and like the idea of having so many little sewing tools all wrapped up in one. Maybe I will be lucky tomorrow and I will one of these for my birthday. Now I am dreaming. I hardly ever get any birthday gifts.
