I still have my eye on those cute drawstring bags from Randi, and of course the dust mitts and swiffer dusters are perfect for the spring cleaning craze I’m feeling! Thanks for the reminders.

Oh dear. I may have to give up the housework and go make those butterflies!
So much good stuff here! I love the dusters. And I loved the ruffle top and love the sundress version even more! How cute would it be to make a matching top and little dress.

I’ve already made my swiffer mop a few extra fleecy replacements. Now I’ll have to make the little duster some new friends too!
Thanks!
Smart ideas with the dusters!!!
love the laundry bag. Have to give that a try.
I took out my machine for the first time in years last night! Even though my task was mundane, my heart was in heaven. It felt so good to do. My mind has started cooking up the next project. Looking at this blog every day really gets my creative juices flowing.
Thanks.

That gardening bag is now at the top of my project list! thanks!
Have already saved the swiffer idea. I’d heard about it before, but seeing the pics and directions makes all the difference for a visual learner like me!

So many great ideas!!! What do I sew first?

Great ideas! I will be making the laundry bag and the swiffer duster this weekend. Thanks for giving me some great sewing ideas for a rainy weekend.
These look like some fun projects. I’ll have to give them a try.
The laundry sack would be a nice, practical graduation gift for my daughter’s friends!
I had the same idea to use that shirt tute for a dress for my little one. It is so hard to find something that will fit her. Thanks for all the pics!
Thanks again for the great tutorials… now if I only had time to make them ALL. It is so hard to decide which ones to do.
I’m in love with the cherries! I ned someone to make me a shirt just like that! (Because, you know, I’m not done with the spring cleaning in my sewing room so I can’t really get in there and get things done yet, lol.) Can’t wait to read through all the blogs and tuts!
I absolutely love those butterflies…and also the cherry sundress modification! Adorable!
Wow what great ideas. I am going to have to try making a few of those.
I love the ruffle sundress! I’m having fun thinking up my own variations.
After seeing the garden tote – I need to make time for one of these
Ugh!! I so wish this wasn’t a cleaning week and that I could just sit down at my sewing table and sew until my fingers hurt. I’m in love with those butterflies and the quilted bag and the cherry dress. Oh so cute!!
Love the butterfly mobile! I have a baby shower to go to soon and it will make a fantastic gift!
I made the butterfly mobile as soon as I saw it! It is perfect for my baby’s room!
So many projects, so little time! These are great ideas for all the spring birthdays coming up.
I will definitely be trying out the swiffer refills. I already crochet my own pads for the swiffer mop. I just hate shelling out over and over for something I can’t reuse. I love snagging the design improvements from disposable items and making them into durable goods. Thanks!
Very cute ideas!
