How cheerful!
I love making yo-yo’s ut I just end up with a pile of them, I never seem to know what to do with them next.
This is really lovely. A great way of using scraps and the result is very nice to use as decoration.
I decorated some wrist warmers with a yo-yo each with a strawberry shaped button in the middle. They are one of my 14 year old’s favourite things.
Those are really cute. I would love to put together a whole string one of these years.
I love love love yo-yos, they’re so fun! I’m currently repairing a quilt with yo-yo appliqué and I’m having a great time with them!
I love this. I am hoping to do this as soon as possible. Great idea!
Thats so darling!! I love it.
So cute! I haven’t tried making yo-yos yet I need to get started!
Great idea! I was thinking about making a christmas garland this year. I have some awesome candy cane striped yarn that I can string up a few yo yos on!
This is so fresh and pepperminty! Love it.
Don’t these yoyos look great all together. I’ve been a bit obsessed with yoyos myself recently since discovering the clover yoyo makers and think a garland would look so pretty on the tree this year.
Lovely photo!
Awesome idea, I totally want to make one of these!
Cute! I am totally stealing this idea. I use mine for wreathes, pillow covers and making quilts.
So cheerful and fun!
Nice idea! I have just purchased a yoyo maker…I want to make a table cloth for everyday with yoyo’s. I’m going to buy a bundle of designer fabrics that all coordinate, since I’m sooo crummy at that and use those!
omg, so cute!
These are so cute and cheerful! I love it!
Never seen a yo-yo garland before…this is great!
So cheerful and sweet, they look like candies!
Love this gorgeous, colorful necklace. I enjoy making yoyo’s, about the only hand sewing I do. I find your blog to be inspiring. Thanks!
Oops – this is supposed to be a garland – it would make a great necklace too!
Love those yo-yos. I make them often and have a few hundred made up. Use them on anything. Latest, making Christmas ornies and adding to a baby quilt to cover a few square patches that didn’t quite match up right..
This is a great idea. Thank you!
What a cute way to use scraps and create a homemade Christmas that has a lot of style. You could use any colors that you like – get creative. I would love to make this for our tree!!!! Thank you for sharing!
Cute yoyo’s! Love yoyo projects!
Love yoyos – and don’t these look like a pile of peppermints!? Yum.
Oh my gosh that is just too cute. That will look awesome on a Christmas tree. Great idea.
I have gotten yoyo fever, and I’m now making yoyos of all colors with all kinds of dots. I can’t wait to get what I plan to be a quilt or throw finished. Only trouble is, I keep finding more neat dotted fabric to add to the ones I have. I’m only making about 10 to 12 yoyos with each different fabric. I have about 2500 right now, and the count grows each day. If you have any ideas about assembling the piece after I finish, I’d appreciate it. I’m thinking about making squares each with 16 yoyos then surrounding the dots with solid yoyos in those colors. I’ve tried it, and I think it will look good, but if you have an even juicier idea please let me know. Thanks, Mary Ann
