So many great projects! I love seeing the vintage sewing machine journals . . . wouldn’t that silhouette be perfect for a wall art thingie? My other fav is the kitten-proof sewing organizer. My kitty loves to pull pins out of the pincusion with her sharp little teeth. Aargh! I need to make this little foldie organizer.

That Owl measuring tape is the absolute cutest thing! The Fabric reference cards would sure come in handy. I usually buy in 3 yard increments for apparel if I don’t have a plan but just love the fabric. For quilt fabrics, I buy in 1/2 yard increments because I love scrap quilts.

Gluten Free!!!! I really enjoyed her blog. I am Celiac, and its so nice to see some more variety. The gifts for crafters are my fav as my Mom is an avid crafter and that is something we share together.

I see the perfect gift for my mother – the crafter who has EVERYTHING! The travel caddy/notebook would be perfect for her and all the many crafts she does while sitting in the car or watching tv. I never thought about printing my embroidery thread holders. That is a great idea! No more winging a shape and having it come out all wonky. My thread will now look nice and organized. I might even be convinced to sort it by colour.

The pincushion organizer is great. so many different tools in one. and the scrap bag is so much cuter than the gift bag I’m currently using.
They are all great project ideas, but I *need* the kitten-proof sewing organizer. Our Mr. Orange loves to get into the sewing items.
Cute stuff – but I wish you would showcase one of the tutorial items on the front page photo (before the jump) on some of the days. Every day I see a cute little photo teaser and think I’m going to get instructions on how to make it, only to find that it is a for sale item. I do love supporting handmade artisans, but I think most of us are here because we want to make things ourselves; otherwise we’d be cruising etsy instead. I think the sewing journal is a great idea. It would give me place to keep my scattered thoughts about what I’m sewing and give me a place to keep my ever long “to do ” sewing list.

The checkerboard pin cushion is so cute. I can’t wait to try it. I have been stashbusting by cutting and stitching patchwork squares. This pincushion is a good way to use up my scraps.

I love the crochet roll, and really need one. My hooks keep falling out of my container and they’re a pain when they get underneath tables. Also the organizer, I need one of them so people don’t have to keep getting up from the couch to help me find things!

now you’re talking my language – crafts for crafts! I have always wanted a pincushion with different ‘sections’ where I could keep different needles for my sewing machine (organized by size, ballpoint, heavy duty, etc). This patchwork pincushion would be perfect for that.
I’ve got knitting needle rolls on my project list this month. I’ll have to take a close look at this project.
