Hi,

Sounds like you have alot of good people willing to help, please add my name to the list. While I am a busy mom working full time, I always find time to sew. I have made my own things, but I love trying out new patterns. I'd be particularly interested in your pattern review section. Check out my blog, specifically under sewing projects and you'll see some of my work. I think I'd bring a good perspective for those who want to know what works and what to do to make it work. I can't tell you how many times I google a pattern just trying to find out feedback before I dive in, this would be so nice.

Its all about having fun!

Hi, I am a quilter, a sewist for most of my life and currently love to sew bags. I would be interested in being a board member or help develop patterns and tutorials. I have written patterns for quilts and bags and helped my mother develop and write patterns for her fabric designs.
My shop is located at http://www.bagandbaggage.etsy.com where I have a couple of patterns available amongst my bag creations or my blog is at http://www.sewhelpmequilts.blogspot.com, where I have posted a bag tutorial.
Thanks for your time and consideration!

A pattern review sounds like fun! I love to make hip and stylish accessories for little ones and their mamas. I also sell ebooks on almost all the items I make, so that people who are starting off like I did (didn't know what in the world a bobbin was, and refused to take a sewing class), are able to start sewing fun items right away, with very little experience needed.

Here's my site www.bellasymphony.com, and if I am so lucky to be chosen, I would be available when needed, so please, choose me :)

I'd love to do pattern and book reviews and test out tutorials. I am usually the guinea pig at work to design and test out new process or programs because I anticipate how directions will be received by readers and provide revisions to clear up problems.

I have sewn for ages for myself and my children with lots of home decor and softies too. I am from Canada and participate in several swaps. Recently I have been concentrating on quilts which I really enjoy. I adore fabric. I'd be happy to be a board member too.

Hi Sew, Mama, Sew!

I would love to review patterns and I could contribute tutorials too. I have been sewing since preschool and have 40+ years of experience.

My specialty is recycling textiles into new, useful and attractive items. I especially like to sew bags and purses.

You can see my work at recreationsbyjoy.etsy.com

Hi,

I'd love to be a part of the team. I'm a self taught sewist, mostly learning from Japanese sewing patterns. I started sewing clothes for baby girls when I had a daughter in 2005. I opened a shop on Etsy, plainly jane, to sell the what she couldn't wear.

For me, part of creating is a three step process.
(1) finding supplies. I try to find materials by thrifting vintage buttons and supplies, creating my own felt using wool sweaters, using linen from vintage table cloths, and seeking out feed sacks and vintage fabrics. I try to use exclusively natural materials.
(2) making. In addition to sewing, I've taught myself a number of techniques including embroidering, needle felting, wet felting, spinning, knitting, linoleum printing - experimenting with almost anything I can get my hands on. I create my own patterns for kids toys as well.
(3) sharing. I discovered blogging and Flickr as a way to share the things I've made and the process by which I've created them. I enjoy writing about and discussing projects as much as I enjoy creating them.

I am a stay-at-home mom, formerly a full-time landscape architect so have some time to devote to projects during the week. I will be traveling at the beginning of august, but only for a week or so.

Thanks for the consideration.

Hi,

I'm a new sewer & quilter, which might offer a fresh perspective on tutorials & pattern reviews, both of which I'm interested.

My 2 year-old is the benefactor of most of my sewing. My emphasis is quilting but I can also sew clothes, bags, and household decor. My favorite thing to make is pillow covers.

Thank you for considering me!
