Such nice products! One of my boys recently used my sharp tiny scissors for carving a bow and arrow, I think. They’re pretty useless now, but at least we have a homemade bow and arrow at the ready!

Some scissors would be nice… the ones I stole from my sister back when she was in 3rd grade just aren’t ‘cutting’ it any longer. They never really cut in the first place.

When I graduated from 8th grade my grandmother gave me a sewing kit. It contained a pair of Fiskar shears. That was 1977 and I still use them today.

I bought my fist Fiskars in Finland when I was an exchange student there in the 80′s.

Fiskars is the only brand of scissors that are in my sewing room. There is a fob attached to let everyone know not to use my scissors. I haven’t tried the rotary cutter because I am using the one I got from my Mom, but I need to try one. As for the multi tool, I am going to have to find one of them as it would be a great addition to my sewing room.
