Really interested in all the books in this giveaway- especially the pretty little mini quilts book. A word of warning for anyone who is thinking of buying Cath Kidston’s book though- it really is only some applique ideas to sew onto pre-bought items like gloves and pillows, and as such is not worth buying. However her other book- SEW! – is brilliant. Check out the reviews on amazon if in doubt.

Simple Contemporay Quilts! This is hopefully what I will end up with after this April Quilting month is over. Thank you for all of the great tips, tutorials and examples of wonderful quilts that can be made with a little discipline and imagination.
What fun and inspiration! I’ll have to pull out my scraps and stash to play! This will be a fun month and even better with those lovely books (which I would love).

It was interesting to read the quilt tutorial about pressing your seams open. I have always heard that the dark fabrics would show through. I like the idea of a really nice flat seam! The giveaways look great! Especially the fat quarters!
