I love the Material Obsession book. And Gwen Marston. My next project will have me breaking the rules and moving out of my comfort zone.

I love "Material Obsession One". It is my permanent nightstand book. I always pick it up to put a smile on my face and give me some inspiration. Can't wait to check out some of the other picks. Thanks!

I will second the Gwen Marston book. I am going to her retreat in October and I can't wait! She is fantastic, and incredibly humble too.

I keep getting drawn to the 'Oh, Baby' and 'Simple Contemporary' books, but the problem with all books unless you can get the chance to go through them is - do the contents continue to reflect the cover images that attracted attention in the first place - all too often the best quilts are those on the cover, and sometimes there aren't instructions, guidlines for those quilts in the book.

That Jinney Beyer book looks FANTASTIC. I haven't quilted for years, but that might be the book that gets the rotary cutter back in my hand.
