Gill
Ohhhh, I love the trees on the book cover!
Yay! Christmas!
I always put off making decorations until its too late, so maybe its time to start now and get a jump on it!
Funny, I was just thinking about making felt ornaments with my 3 year old, wondering how she’d do. I still have the ones I made when I was 7. I got a head start last week with glass ornaments, and now I am in the mood for more!
Oh, we love to work with felt, dd and I. This looks really fun, and we are having such a wet summer it would be great to get some sewing done! Gill.
I picked up a few sheets of wool felt this summer and this book might be just the thing I need to start cutting into them.

Christmas in July is a theme I like to do here at home too. A little Christmas crafting when tthe temperature is soaring is perfect! It makes Christmas come faster I think and I am less stressed about a time line.
This will help me start thinking “Christmas”.
Super! maybe this may inspire me to start making Christmas things in July rather than December?!!

I have made felt books and would love to make some 3 dimensional items. Love the cover on the book!
Wow that book looks great! I would love love love to win a copy!
What great timing! I’ve already started my Christmas present pile for this year, having resolved to stop waiting until November, rushing, and ending up stressed and not enjoying Christmas at all. My plan is to be done with Christmas presents by September, so I can move on to Halloween costume construction (I think this year will it will be a princess gown for my little bean), and then November and December will be open for stringing popcorn, baking cookies, and last-minute stocking-stuffers and cuddling with the family, watching Christmas movies. Ah, Yule. Yeah, that’s right, I said Yule
Bring on the Tidings.
What a great book! This would be a good incentive to start my Christmas crafting now rather then waiting until the last minute!
I was hoping you would do something for Christmas in July. I’m starting to plan and begin some projects.
I don’t really want to even think about winter yet… bah humbug!

Also, my little boy loves to see what magically appears out of scraps and raw materials.
