I made the first cozy slippers on the list for my 4-year-old to go with her Halloween costume this year (she was Tinkerbell, so I made them w/ green fabric and added a white pom-pom). They were pretty easy and turned out well–despite the fact that I was much lazier with my pattern making.

Oh THANK YOU!!! I am (theoretically) knitting slippers for the female members of my family for Christmas (1.5 down, 4 more to go!), and hats for some of the men, but I didn’t know what to do for the non-hat wearing men. The sew-able cosy slippers are PERFECT!… And the cozy slippers also look like the perfect fail-safe for the knitted ones I’ll inevitably not finish (my craft list has gotten WAY too long this year)!
