Introducing ~ Rebecca

From Rebecca: Thank you so much Sew,Mama,Sew! for having me on your blog today. Its so nice to be able to give a little back to blog land and all of the wonderful inspiration I have found out there…

I have always loved creating things… Three Years ago I got free tickets to a craft show and I was so overwhelmed by the amazing fabrics that were available. It was like scrapbook paper, only so much better! My grandmother sewed all her life, and my mum a little, so perhaps its in my blood. But since attending that craft show a few years ago I think I have sewed nearly every day since. I have made a few little projects here and there. I am always searching the net to find something new to make… Something to inspire me.

I have a crazy obsession with fabric. I’m a quilt girl; it’s my thing. I just love them. Everything about them, from the fabric, to designing a quilt, sewing the fabric, quilting… I LOVE hand quilting.

Sewing relaxes me, keeps me sane, helps me heal and makes me happy. Seven months ago I started my blog Chasing Cottons, started selling my patterns and I have loved every minute of it!

Love your Blog. I am inspired by all your creativity with color and unusual shapes. And, then I saw your beautiful sewing room with your Bernina on your sewing table. Made my pulse race a little as i am in the process of redesigning my own sewing room. Thank you for sharing and I am now officially a fan and will be following your success. Bravo!
