Now that there are larger photos, I’m noticing that the 1st & 2nd place Pieced Pillows aren’t pieced at all. They are fused appliqué. I thought some appliqué could be included, but there had to be patchwork of some sort. I’m confused.

Congratulations gals, these are beautiful projects. The zigzag pillow seems to be the only one that’s “pieced”, though!
Love the pillows but I always thought that ‘pieced’ and applique were two different things? Maybe not?
