Natural Patchwork Giveaway
Natural Patchwork follows up the success of Patchwork Style and Playful Patchwork with 26 new projects for home and the outdoors. The projects incorporate appliqué techniques and patchwork in new designs ranging from hexagon and octagon patchwork shoulder bags to alphabet pillow covers. We especially love the appliquéd room shoes, the hexagon patchwork book cover and we think the courthouse steps quilt is simply gorgeous.
We’re excited to offer you a chance to win a copy of Natural Patchwork today! See details below…
Appliquéd Room Shoes + Appliquéd Floor Mat
Koseki’s earlier Patchwork Style was one of the first books to make the Japanese craft and sewing book aesthetic more accessible to an English-speaking audience of sewists. The sewing storm of beautiful, modern log cabin designs, for example, popped up everywhere in large part due to the popularity of Koseki’s work. In addition to her lovely sewing books Koseki also designs fabrics for Yuwa. Ayumi from Pink Penguin wrote some great posts about Suzuko Koseki’s fabric, and about meeting her recently at the 2011 Tokyo Quilt Festival.
