Hi what a very nice mug rug lovely colours and fabrics how long did it take you to make? Might have a go at making one of these for my daughter should be easy enough with your nice easy to follow diagrams,My local market stall has a few bits on it very similar to your rug,so guess were I am going tomorrow.

I really enjoyed your tuitorial on the ‘mug rugs’ with clear directions. Before I stumbled across this tonght I’d never heard of such a thing. But – now that I have I will be doing some serious mug rug sewing for a few friends. Thans so much for doing this and for free. We really do appreciate it and do remember if we do need to shop for something.

I have no problem piecing the front at all. What I have difficulty is with the binding.
I have never been able to accomplish that part. (well in a way that would be presentable.) They all end up in the trash.Do you have an easy way of binding the edges?
