Introducing ~ Tori
Tori started her One Eleven sewing blog this spring and she’s already jumping in to the community of online sewists with a fun tutorial, coming up next! Be sure to stop by Tori’s blog to comment on all of the cute things she’s sewn up lately (she’s made some especially darling bibs), and come back for a great zippered pouch for all of your chic summer adventures.
From Tori: I’m a self -taught sewer. I didn’t even grow up anywhere near a sewing machine but around 2006 I had this sudden urge to want to learn how to sew. I had this desire to create beautiful things so in 2007 I got my first sewing machine, and with the help of YouTube, a few sewing blogs, and my determination, it has been on ever since. I’m inspired by LOTS of bright colors so I try to use as much color as possible with anything that I make. I recently started a sewing blog called One Eleven to connect with other wonderful sewers, and to document and share my creations with all of you! I am a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful and hilarious kids.
I am extremely happy to be a contributor to the Sew,Mama,Sew! blog. They have taught me so much about sewing via their tutorials and expert advice so I kind of feel like I’m having one of those full circle moments!

Hi Tori. I loved that eye candy clutch. Pretty colors.
I really liked your website, especially the bibs. I need to make some for the newest baby in the family. My two nieces have a couple of little ones and the ones you made are so cute! I also have the Bend the Rules book, but I need to make some room near the sewing machine.
I love sewing with bright colors too. I enjoyed checking out your blog.
Like the idea of reading a blog from a fellow self taught sewer.
