     Nice quilt with dual purpose. However, I read a long time ago to not work on your quilt at the beach because the bugs will get into the batting, most likely. Knowing how bad the red ants and other little bugs are,I would not put a quilt down on the ground or the sand, because if you get those bugs in your house, you will never get them out. Just a suggestion. Know at least the children would enjoy the quilt as well as being able to play games on it.
