Introducing ~ Jessica from Me Sew Crazy
We wanted to ask Jessica to join us for a Back to School tutorial, but then we realized she was on a maternity leave of sorts having just given birth to a darling little baby boy. It ended up working out perfectly, however, because Jessica can’t ever be away from sewing for long and she was in the midst of creating a “Fall Collection” for her daughter. Jessica shares a tutorial next for one of the pieces in the collection (you’ll love it!), and she’s already back in full force on her Me Sew Crazy blog with a fun Back to Basics series (check it out!). You’ll also want to visit her extensive selection of tutorials. Wow!
Hi Sew,Mama,Sew! readers, I’m Jessica from Me Sew Crazy. I am so excited to be here today and have the opportunity to introduce myself! Almost five years ago my first daughter was born and I became a Stay at Home Mom. Searching for a creative outlet in the small amount of ‘me’ time I suddenly found myself with, I stumbled across sewing and quickly began learning. It has been a love affair ever since. I have discovered my passion in the creative world, and it gives me great joy to share that with you. I have made handmade clothes for my eldest daughter and her younger siblings from the day they were born, and cherish knowing that I am clothing them in love. With tutorials for everything from clothing for little girls and boy, as well as Mommas, accessories, and even the occasional craft project, I hope you will come on over and join in on the fun!

Welcome, Jessica! My mother sewed for me, too, and the feeling of being tended to and loved lasted long after I’d outgrown the clothes themselves. What a lovely gift you are giving your children.
What a sweet story. My Grandmother and Mom sewed nearly all of my clothes, so it was a natural progression that I learned to sew when my children were born. They are always bringing me new projects!
Cute blog!
My mother also sew a lot of my clothes, she started teaching me verly early to sew and knit. My kids are now too big to want mom to sew clothes, but they are asking for purses, bags, quilts, etc all the time. I+m looking forward to having grandchildren to start sewing “small” clothes again.
I’ve just bisited your blog, really nice. Your tutorials are fantastic!

I returned back to sewing after many years hiatus, only after my Daughter was born. The desire to make something special for your little one urges one to great extent isn’t it. Welcome to the Mama Made Club!
