What a great idea! I admit I can be too cautious about mixing and matching, not to mention have loved some prints I wanted to buy but just couldn’t see in a larger project b/c it was just a little TOO bold. Well, that and being able to use some of those more expensive fabrics without breaking the bank. Sounds like this book lets you have the best of both worlds!

Just because you use a beautiful fabric doesn’t make your project great- you have to highlight it well. These projects do just that. Utilize a fabulous fabric, and give your eyes the space to enjoy it. Fabulous! And I would love to make them all!

These quilts literally made my jaw drop; how beautiful! Favorite is hands down the quilt on the cover with the circles. I love the way she uses solids and prints to accent or feature particular fabrics; wish I was better at stuff like that!!!

I like the technique used in the downloadable pattern. I’ve seen other similar designs where you sew all the pieces together at various angles but the way this one is sown, it looks more like they are just folded over each other. It’s very soft looking that way.

This books looks like exactly what I need. I want to make my first proper quilt out of fabric which was used for my wedding but have been struggling with the design. I tried to buy it straight away but it hasn’t been released in the UK yet!! Must get my hands on it!
