I made some PJ’s for my oldest son out of the same fabric that lap desk is made from! I love the chair pouch, I’ll have to double check my mom’s desk at her school to see if it would work for her!

Those desk chair bags would make a great PTA project/fundraiser. A friend made 30 for her sister who is a schoolteacher in an inner city school, then her church group filled them with school supplies for the kids.

I had a school chair bag like this but mine was just made out of denim so it was nowhere near as fancy as this one but I loved it. I made them for children when I was older and used fabric markers to write their names and decorate them. Most of the children still have them on a chair in their rooms still.
They are brilliant – thanks for reminding me of this great idea for gifts.

Great collection of projects today. I’ll make them all, including the snowman pops. I just love the number bags, for playing, counting down to Christmas or our own Sinterklaas or the summer holidays, laying out the numbers, place them in a bowl for decoration.

That zip up pencil case is fab, though I do think my counting beanbags that I published a tutorial for are better than the ones show here as they have corresponding quantities of animals on the backs…

Oh, yes!! I’m pretty sure my Pre-school class NEEDS me to make a set of numbered bean bags! We use animal ones but, how much more fun to mix it up!!

oh!the bean bags with numbers are fantastic ideas for kids to know numbers or in fact teachers can organize games of throwing bean bags and students will shout for the number they get..what a lively game!
