Spoonflower is such a great tool to have available to people who work with fabric. With yarn, you can dye your own if you'd like, and the same goes for solid-ish fabrics, but if you want to work with prints of your own making, I think the options were very, very limited before Spoonflower came on the scene.

I think it's so neat that Spoonflower is accessible to the average, every-day person at home that wants a yard of fabric and the budding designer trying to get his/her work noticed. Awesome.

Everyone should have their own style, so Spoonflower and creativity in general lets us find a way to blend what we like into something completely unique. And that's why I agree that a quilt made up of only one fabric collection is dull.

Spoonflower is so awesome! I agree with Kim, one of the fabric companies needs to snatch up Holly Ward Bimba's designs! I love her art.

Oh, that dress! What a great service to allow sewers even more options for fabric design.

I think Spoonflower is opening up the world of design to so many dreamers (but non-professionals) in a way that is totally AMAZING. Love what they can do! Can't wait to see what comes next. Paper maybe? Kitchen linens? Wallpaper?
