I love the fact that the Botanical Pop! quilt by Leslie Unfinished is designated for a baby girl, whoever she is. (I can't stand the concept of "girl colours" and "boy colours"; one can only wonder how much parents teach their kids gender roles through colours and prints.) Anyway, these Sewing Trends are as usual a delightful read!

I had also noticed lots of whole cloth quilts popping up. I'll probably be including one in my Handstitched class this summer!

I love seeing the trends she finds. The dresses are so ruffly and floral and fun!

And the whole cloth embroidered quilts? Adorable! I'd love to make something like that someday!
