“Reinventing” has become one of my hobbies. I think my favorite thing to do is find interesting fabrics in the 25-cent bin at our local thrift store that I can turn into pretty clothes for my daughter. She’s getting quite a collection of dresses and skirts from fun fabrics.

I have lots of jean squares I saved when my husband worked in construction and went through several pairs each year. Someday I hope to make a jean quilt. I’m currently “recycling” a $1.50 flannel sheet I picked up at Goodwill into curtains for my daughter’s room.

I love to use parts of denim pieces to make bags and home dec accents. I have plans to make a couple of rugs for my kitchen from the bottom legs of worn out twill pants.

It is a wonderful idea to reinvent fabrics into other items. I took old jeans and made a full size quilt, from light to dark! What fun it was. I have also made a vest in the same fabrics and added new to it. Thank you for the giveaway! Have a wonderful week!
