Oh, what a great giveaway. Promising myself extra quilting time this summer, and these would be great!
Hello,
I am just a beginner and I love reading your blog, so inspiring! I love traditional quilting and blocks such as FWs ones but I don’t use vintage fabrics, I prefer Lecien florals instead. Thank you very much for sharing so many tutorials, I really appreciate that as a beginner!
What an awesome beautiful book!
I like easy desings that look like work lol. I’m BRAND new to quilting and still scared to piece and finish
This looks like a great book. I would love to win. Thanks
I’m new to quilting so would love to win this book. It looks fantastic! Thanks for the chance and the block!
I’m a new quilter, and I’m all about modern and straightforward. I quilt to relieve stress from work and grad school!
I’m a novice quilter and I like the modern designs. I like asymmetrical designs the best. I’d love to win this book.
I have quilted since I was 10 years old but I feel like I am always learning something new.
I’m pretty new to quilting. I’ve read a ton of books but I’m just finishing my first quilt. I’m in love! Quilting is amazing!
That block is so fun!
I’ve been quilting for 2o years, getting my start as a teenager with some quilts my mum started before I was born! While I live traditional stuff I’m definitely a modern quilter.
Wow! Thanks gor the great give away! I quilt using bright clear colors and would say Modern is my style. Though I love solids, I tend to sew scrappy using mainly Kaffe, Amy, and such. Stitching quilts has been my main focus for about thirty years, and my stash is ever evolving.
I love modern quilting, but the longer I quilt the more I’m fascinated by traditional designs and quilt history, too.
I usually do traditional designs but SO want to start trying modern!
I would love to win a copy of the book!
I just started working on my first full size (twin) quilt. I love the more modern style, and modern fabric lines.
I have been quilting for 5 years, and am currently balancing several “mommy, I wants” with guilt over not doing anything for the one kid who can’t yet talk. I tend towards the more traditional designs. And I love the Fat Quarterly e-zine and am very excited about the book!
I’m new to quilting, but have been sewing since I was in middle school. At this point, I lean more towards the traditional designs. The book looks like a great resource!
I would love to start quilting but it looks so time consuming and my girls barely let me sew as it is.
I’ve made a few quilts – one for each of my sons, one for my dad and one for my sister. Mostly just straight lines or patchwork. I’d like to branch out, but I do prefer basic, clean designs over the really complicated ones. I’m really loving that baby quilt in the photo above!!!
Jess
Love that riot of color on the Orange Soda quilt! Seeing that on my bed would make me smile every time I saw it.
I’ve only made one quilt – and that was a simple strip quilt. I think I like the more modern designs, I’m on the look out for some ideas for my next project
Hi, I am a quilter of about 5 years now but I am also a caregiver and time to quilt is not as easy to find anymore. In the past I have kept busy with traditional patterns and blocks but have a new love interest in the modern quilts–I love how fresh and energetic they are. Thank you for allowing me to see many of the beautiful fabrics available and to read what is happening in the modern quilting world.
I just purchased the book – but my daughter would love a copy!
I am just starting out, but I tend toward traditional patterns made with colorful fabrics.
Thanks for the chance!
<3
The book looks fabulous. I am finding more and more that traditional patterns look, just that…traditional, and am being very attracted to more modern designs. I learned to sew, patchwork, crochet and quilt when I was little, but have had little time to pursue much as I worked and raised a child. Now I have more time, and I do many creative things. Most of the quilted things I make now are small…fabric postcards, mugrugs, and other small quilts.
Thanks for the free pattern!
I love modern and improv!
This looks such a great book!
I love modern quilting, I am so excited about this book I was at the FQ Retreat last weekend and they had books in the raffle but I didn’t win
So I would love to have a copy from you! thanks for the giveaway
I’m just starting out quilting. I have my first baby on the way and am planning on making a quilt for him or her!!
I’m on year 12 of being a beginner. I’ve broken free of traditional quilting. Well sort of, because I still love a pinwheel quilt other patterns if they are a little unique.
Fun book, thanks for the giveaway!
I like somewhat traditional blocks with a modern twist & bright fabrics. What I don’t care for is making the same block in the same fabrics over & over again. To me it gets a bit boring & tedious
I’m just learning, but I really like modern ones.
This is so awesome! I am a beginning quilter, and I would love to do some of this stuff!
In terms of quilting I’m a newbie. I learned how to quilt in fall 2010 and I’ve made a few small projects since then and am working on my first full sized quilt currently. I have multiple projects lined up after that. I’m definitely more intrigued by modern quilting designs over the more traditional ones though.
I am just learning, but I really like modern quilts.
looks like a great book! i aim more towards modern fabrics but i like both mod and traditional piecing.
What a great book! I’ve been quilting since I was a kid and now I’m trying to push myself into a more modern style. We’ll see how it goes!
I aspirationally quilt more than I do in real life these days, with two young kids and a work schedule. I hadn’t been so into this book because the glimpses I’d seen made it look fairly traditional (complex pieced blocks) but I love the baby quilt pictured here, that mixes blocks with strips — that looks like such a clean-lined, elegant and modern design which also (helpfully!) cuts down on the time to make a hand-made item. Saved for the file…and it makes me hope to win the book! Thanks for the giveaway!
I love modern quilting and bright colours. That Orange Soda quilt is right up my alley!
I’m new to quilting and tend to like more modern designs. I have no experience with sewing curved pieces – but I love seeing them on other people’s work. I’m always inspired by what others do! Thanks for sharing the book.
I’m fairly new to quilting. I have a few quilts under my belt, and am looking to expand my knowledge on different shapes and blocks. I love modern quilting with a touch of traditional!
would love to win this book, i’ve made a couple of simple checkerboard style quilts, but would love to branch out and make some funky modern blocks and put them all together for a quilt
I like clean design, so I lean toward modern quilting but like both. I’ve been sewing for years but only in last two years started quilting in part because of all the wonderful fabrics, great inspiration, and tutorials on sites like yours.
This book looks fun! I want to try everything so, I tend to do both modern and traditional. I haven’t really settled on a style yet. I learned to quilt about 15 years ago. I only really got into the craft a few years ago when I began reteaching/remembering how to quilt.
I am just starting my first quilt out of fat quarters..I am excited go see how it turns out. Sounds like a fun book.I would be pleased to have book with different ideas.
I’m a “old” sewer but a new quilter. I was never interested in quilting until I recently started seeing modern quilting. Now I’m giving it a try! Thanks for the chance to win!
What a great giveaway!
I’m still new to quilting, but I love the look of modern quilts.
Just starting to quilt! On my second quilt!
I know this has to be a great book. I was a subscriber to Fat Quarterly until it ran out and I haven’t renewed again yet. They had such a great variety of quilts and other things so I know that book must be awesome.
Thank you for the block.
Would love a copy of this book! Getting a bit bored of trying to modernise just the basic courtyard steps and stars. I just started quilting this year and I’m amazed by how satisfying it is, particularly compared to garment sewing which is an exercise in despair half the time for me.
I love traditional quilt shapes, but I am eager to branch out. I love to hand quilt.
What a colorful, charming book! My favorite quilt was the story quilt I made while taking classes at Hiram Weekend College in Hiram, Ohio. With the encouragement of my instructors, my story quilt told of my life-long desire to pursue my forever dream of attending college there & graduating at the age of 58!!
I’ve only been quilting for a little over a year now, so I’m still pretty green
I love more modern quilts and prints usually. Thanks for the giveaway!
Hi! I’ve quilted for decades, but if I have to say how many, you’ll know I’m OLD! But I can change my ways. I’ve gone from thoroughly traditional quilting with dull, muddy fabrics, to slightly liberated quilting with clear, bright and solid fabrics. Thank you for the chance to win that book so I can continue to change my ways.
I just started quilting again after about 3 years. I just got a new sewing machine and am now in the process of making a quilt for my nephew’s wedding. I live bright bold modern designs. thanks!
I’m just learning to quilt, I’ve finished a very basic baby quilt and am at the point where I need to bind my second slightly less basic baby quilt. I love the traditional patterns but am a big fan of bright modern colors so I am drawn to incorporating both.
I enjoy quilting and I always have a variety of projects in various steps along the way to becoming a quilt. I enjoy modern and traditional and I have a special fondness for applique.
Just getting back into sewing. This is a wonderful site! And giveaways too! Thanks
I am relatively new to quilting but I really love it. I do a blend of modern and traditional. Traditional patterns adapted to have a modern feel through color choice or paring down a design. I am very excited about this because I have started working with shapes and am super excited about triangles at the moment!
I love the modern quilts – particularly those made with all solids. I just haven’t really made many myself yet! Thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve only been quilting for about a year now, but I’m drawn to modern patterns. I still need lots of practice making them come out right though!
i lean towards modern blocks and shapes and love applique, but i try to pick quilts that have a new-to-me technique. i’m still learning and have been quilting 3 of the last five years or so. i’ve a few books, each about something different in quilting. this book would fit my criteria! thanx for the opportunity to win it.
It does look like a great book; thanks for chance to win! I’ve been quilting about 5 years, some traditional patterns, some a little improvised, but lots of “modern” fabrics used. I love to make baby quilts as gifts and there are so many fun fabrics for that!
I love doing traditional work with modern prints or modern flair
Just finished my first quilt and I love seeing such inspirational projects! They totally motivate me to get started on my next project.
I’m starting to find my own style in quilting (and up my game in harder to piece blocks), which means looking up all kinds of blocks for inspiration. This looks like a fun book to go through!
I’m a big fan of modern quilting and am just starting out. This book looks like a wonderful resource!
I’m somewhat new to quilting and like to try out different patterns. I think this book will be a lot of fun…especially the orange soda quilt pattern.
I think I just started quilting as I didn’t make many quilts by now. But I learned so much by reading blogs and of course making quilts. My style is – I think – something between traditional and modern.
I am just starting out but much prefer the traditional quilts. I am very excited about this book – I think I could learn a lot from it.
I’ve only made 3 quilts. I’d like to learn to do something other than squares or rectangles. This looks like a great book.
I’m just starting out with quilts for my girls’ beds and would love to learn some new things! That block looks fabulous!
I like the traditional patterns with new fabric.
I’ve been quilting for about 10 years, and I love traditional and modern quilting. I still feel somewhat like a beginner, since I’ve only actually finished 3 quilts. Many more to come, but right now they’re mostly in my head.
I want to win this book, it looks great.
Ale
Costa Rica
I’d say that my style is somewhat traditional but I do enjoy using the modern fabrics. Thanks for the giveaway!
I am a thirty something who started quilting 4 years ago and immediately became addicted. My mother and I just started a longarm quilting business in March. My style is non traditional. I like fun bright and fresh fabric patterns. I just signed up for two block swaps on line so this book would be perfect!!
I’m new to quilting. I made my nephew a quilt. It was so much fun. I love the look of the traditional patterns but love the modern for my home.
I’m just starting out, so I don’t have a ton of exposure to different quilt blocks. But I will say that so far I like traditional blocks or when people take modern twists with them. Thanks for a chance to win though, this book looks awesome!
Great contest, would love to have this new book. Love the blog!
I do love traditional quilt patterns!
I’ve only made a few baby patchwork quilts, but I’m gathering up the courage to make something larger with “real” blocks. I much prefer modern quilts, but there are a few great traditional styles that I like, such as windowpane quilts.
I am excited about the book, definitely! The FQ gang are just so much fun. I like a mix of modern and traditional, but am lately just drawn to improv. I like to make it up as I go. I love trying new-to-me techniques, too! And I’ve only considered myself a quilter for about a year. I learned to sew when I was a kid, though.
I’ve been quilting for a long time, but discovered modern quilting in the last few months and it has totally refreshed my interest.
I am a brand new quilter, just now working on my very first quilt, and I’m LOVING it so far!!! (Not that I’m making anything super-amazing-fantastic, just having fun with it) I would sure love to win that book, to get me started a bit better!!
I have been quilting for a long time but am really wanting to get more into it as my children are much older now. The Modern Quilt Guild was made for me. I’d love to add this book to my library.
I’m a more traditional quilter and haven’t made anything ‘modern’ yet. But the more I’m seeing modern quilts the more it’s making me want to try one. Thanks for the great giveaway.
This looks like a fantastic book. Thanks for the chance! I have been quilting for about a year now and sewed home goods before that. I was drawn to modern quilting because of my love of color and contemporary fabrics.
I’ve been quilting 12 or so years and love the trad and mod designs! This book looks great from what I’ve seen of it, thanks for the chance!
I consider my quilting style to be “modern traditional”
The book looks fabulous!! I’ve migrated to mostly modern designs (and solids), am in love with my HandiQuilter, and need some design ideas to help me whittle my stash down a little
. (so that I can buy more fabric, of course!). Thanks for the contest!
That book looks fantastic! I’m inexplicably drawn to triangles and hexagons; it’d be good to break free of them some time!
I am a traditional quilter, but love the new modern fabrics. This book looks awesome. Thanks for sharing a copy!
Meet John last week at the Fat Quarterly Retreat in London. The only other guy there and we had a great time.
My mom taught me to Quilt about 8 years ago. Once I started I was hooked. More of a modern quilter but I am open to all types of work. Like working with shapes, colors and prints when planning out my projects.
I like modern and traditional quilting. Taught myself how to quilt as a teenager by doing it and reading books.
I’ve been quilting for many, many years, modern and improvised is my passion and I am very excited to see the new book…even better if I won it
I am a fairly new quilter but I love traditional blocks done with modern fabrics!
A great book, two great quilts and a darling little girl from the back! Cross fingers1
I have beening quilting for nearly 20 years now. Although I have been drawn to traditional quilts, the modern ones are now calling to me. I love the designs and the bursts of color.
This book would be a great addition to my library. Thank you for the pattern!
I’ve finally have a crafting space and would love to dive into a quilt making project. These look really interesting. I can’t wait to try one out!
I’m so excited to hear more about this book. It sounds so informative and inspiring. I’ve been quilting off and on for more than 20 years. My background is more traditional and I love all the history. Last summer I started reading blogs and learning more about the online quilting community. Boy, were my eyes opened! There is so many talented and inspiring people doing amazing things and I’m loving it all. At first I wasn’t too sure about “modern” quilting but there is alot I like.
Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win an amazing book.
Two copies! So Generous!
usairdoll(at)gmail(dot)com
I’m a beginning quilter and so far seem to be attracted to a bit of modern and a bit of traditional. Just depends!
I like both modern and traditional quilts. This looks like an interesting book. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.
My mother has quilted for more than 65 years and there is a history of quilters on both sides of my family. I started quilting in earnest about 5 years ago. When I taught high school geometry, my mother’s quilts became props for teaching about angles and polygons. The students loved being able to touch the quilts and trace designs with their fingers. I digress. I want this book. I’m both a traditional and modern quilter – good at the geometry though color challenged. Thanks for the chance.
I consider myself more of a modern quilter, but I do like some of the traditional blocks. I’ve been quilting off and on for the last 13 years–the last three of which have been more on than off.
Modern is very me, although I do have a soft spot for old paper pieced hexagon patterns.
Book looks so beautiful. Can’t wait to take a deeper look inside.
I’m still a beginner and I love modern designs! Modern all the way for me!!
I’ve been mostly a traditional quilter although more and more I am drawn to more modern quilts — something about the clean lines and negative space that is so fun to highlight fantastic fabrics! So I guess as far as quilting goes, I’m a mutt!!
I’m always drawn to traditional blocks but I like to do them in bright, modern fabrics, ala Material Obsession.
wow beautiful book. I’m quiling since 15 years now, love traditionnal and appliqué quilt! love the bright colors. thank’s for the chance to win
Great book!
what a great giveaway…. Love those quilts
A dear friend introduced me to quilting about 5 years ago. I love all quilts modern, traditional, art quilts. The book looks fantastic!
I love both
Thanks for the chance to win .
I’m relatively new (about 6 months) and loving it. Both as a newbie who likes the freedom of imperfection in some designs and as someone who likes to think outside the box on occasion, I tend to be drawn towards more modern quilting, but sometimes that comes out as wanting to use traditional patterns in a more modern way (modern fabrics, modern colours, adding a flare to the overall design). That said, there are some traditional blocks that make me swoon and I can’t wait to have a chance to learn some of them. I guess I’m still in the honeymoon “everythng-is-amazing” phase, because I love it all.
I really want to learn how to quilt. I like both classic and modern styles. Art Quilts look fun.
melodyj(at)gmail(dot)com
I started sewing in Nov ’10 and still learning. I love all the modern patterns and colors so I like trying new ideas.
Thanks for an awesome giveaway.
What a great giveaway, I am a modern quilter with a little experience!
I have been quilting quite a while. I am more a traditional quilter. This book looks terrific.
How fun! I love Modern Quilting, but I am just beginning
Been quilting for a while but discovered Modern Quilting about a year ago. Seeing all those beautiful modern quilts really invigorated me. Thanks for the giveaway.
Im pretty new to quilting. My mom got me into it (I sew clothes) and we are working on a BOM quilt together. I’ve sewn a mini art quilt and am making a full size for my daighter’s birthday.
I like traditional quilts with fun, modern, colorful fabric!
I think I am going more towards the Moder Blocks but I still love the traditional older blocks. Would love to win a copy of this book, thanks for the opportunity.
This book looks great! I am a modern quilter with a nod to traditional style.
So pretty! I still don’t know what modern and traditional mean, but I’ve been quilting since I was 16. No one seems to care which is which when you send them a quilt.
I’ve been quilting since 2004, and like more traditional quilting (although I’ve seen some fantastic modern ones, I’ve also seen some questionable ones). However, I don’t like the old fashioned floral fabrics that used to be the norm. I like a lot of the bright colours in modern designs.
The book looks awesome — I’ll definitely need a copy. I have been quilting about 4 years. I just dove in head first and haven’t looked back and I love it. Guess I lean more towards modern designs and those with larger pieces. No tiny stuff for my old eyes.
I like quilts with modern fabric. I’ve been into quilting for years, but haven’t made that many quilts. The book looks very good.
I think I’m new to the world of quilting. The longer I am here, the newer I feel. I love simple quilts, contrasting quilts, and oh my, art quilts.
Although I have sewn for years I have just started quilting this year. Love playing with colours and shapes so would enjoy seeing this book
I have been dying to get my hands on a copy!
I’d say I’m pretty modern in my quilting but I like to dabble with things outside of my style…
I am new to quilting and love the freedom and improv of modern quilting, so fresh!
So far, I’ve only made little things but am getting increasingly inspired by the modern designs. Would love to win this book to get me started! Thanks for the opportunity.
I’ve been quilting for what seems like forever and would love to win a copy!
I am new to quilting. I really, really, really want to win this book. I like traditional quilts with either feedsack fabrics or modern fabrics. I like lots of white in quilts with prints for color.
I’ve been quilting just over half a year, and love the modern quilting movement!
I love traditional quilts (and fav fabrics are 30s, 1800s and batiks) but I’ve done a few art quilts and some with a very modern twist–guess I just like it all!
I like all sorts of quilting, a mix of modern and traditional is great IMO, new twists on classics!
Great giveaway!
I have only recently started doing quilting and so far it has all been handpieced work too. I love hand stitching dresden plates and hexagons. Thank you for a great giveaway.
I am a contemporary quilter as I love clean simple elegant lines
I am actually super excited about the book, they do really fun work. I have been sewing/quilting on and off for about 6 years but I don’t stay doing one type of technique. I also do needlework, crochet, etc. I have all the supplies to learn to paint and inks and stamps for fabric play. I love all styles and go from traditional to art quilt to thread sketch. I keep trying it all and I so LOVE it.
I am a transitional quilter – I like many of the traditional patterns but in modern fabrics and usually in a larger scale.
I love this new book and would enjoy owning a copy.
I have a few projects in the works, but I am always looking for new ones.
I’ve been sewing for awhile, but I just started to quilt. And I LOVE it!
My great aunt taught me to quilt when I was 18. My first quilt was made with polyester fabric from the GC Murphy 5 and 10 cent store. We cut the pieces out with scissors using cardboard templates. Mildred would be amazed with rotary cutters and all of the other advances in quilting. I mostly piece my quilts with fabrics I have collected over 30+ years of quilting.
beautiful quilts!
i’m just starting out, so, i’m not sure where my quilting lies. i do like both modern and traditional!
That looks like a great book! Thanks for the chance.
I’m a quilter for about 10 years and use traditional block designs but with modern fabrics and lots of color.
I love handpiecing the most. Probalbly I am more a traditional quilter, but I love all those modern ones too.
I love both traditional and modern quilting, and usually end up making things that are a mixture of both. Thanks!
I was crazy about modern blocks when I first started sewing three years ago, but now I love the results when I pair modern fabrics with traditional blocks and patterns. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
Very fun give away! Thanks for the try. I am both modern and traditional. I love 30′s fabrics and patterns and the new stuff. Send help!
I am the daughter of a long-time quilter but g did not take it up until several years ago. I love it but do have a hard time juggling it between kids and work and exercise;) I’m very excited about this book – I’m holding out until after my birthday to buy it (in hopes that I get it as a gift). I love modern quilting but also like the cottage/shabby chic looking quilts too.
Modern quilting is more to my taste. I did not grow up within a quilting tradition, but came to love it rather recently, only a few years ago. Love all the wonderful range of fabric patterns available, it is one of the best parts about quilting, the lovely fabric choices.
I have been quilting since May 2011, so I’m pretty new to all this, but I have already sewn about 20 quilttops so far and noone can stop me
(reading about quilting for 5 minutes gives me the power to work for yet another two exhausting yet boring hours…)
It’s not that I am into traditional or modern patterns. It’s always a matter of the fabrics that you choose (at least that’s what I think…) each and every pattern can look tradidtional when using “traditional looking” fabrics, isn’t it?
I love bright and intense colors – that makes quilts almost always look kinda modern, right?
I dig into all sorts of literature about quilting that I can get, I loooove all new books that are published – they light up my breaks at work
Thanks for the chance to win this book!
I love traditonal quilting and my daughter loves modern so sometmies we do a mix of it together. thanks!
I’m just a beginner at quilting, but I find I’m willing to try anything at least once as far as block design, whether it’s machine pieced, hand pieced, paper pieced, I’ll try it! Traditional, modern, doesn’t matter. I only have to make one block to find out if I would like to make multiples. I am really enjoying the process! Thank you for the free block pattern!
I’ve been quilting for about 11 years, since just before my first daughter was born. I wanted her to have a baby quilt and there was no one in my family to do it for me, so I had to learn how.
I don’t think I’ve ever met a quilt I didn’t like. My favorites tend to be two colors and very graphic, or lots of colors and prints all jumbled together, like a charm quilt, or Log Cabin or Pineapple scrap quilts.
Newbie quilter! Would love to win
I love combining traditional patterns for quilt blocks with bold, modern fabrics!
I finally feel as if quilting, although I loved it before, has spoken directly to me with this modern quilt movement. I am humbled by the remarkable talented young and young at heart quilters that share so openly and willingly. Wow!!
I have quilted all types of quilts. What ever happened to catch my eye at the time. Vintage, traditional, modern, reproduction, civil war, I love it all.
I’m a brandnew quilter (working on my first quilt now). I’m not sure whether I like traditional or modern styles more, it’s so hard to choose!
I love scrappy quilts.
Looks like a great book. I´ve been quilting about 20 years, using some traditional designs spiked up with bright colors. I sew by hand or machine, but for the moment hand quilting everything. My favorite part is mixing colors and designs.
I’m enjoying the movement of modern quilting and large square blocks. When I was younger, I thought quilts had to be precisely tiny snippets but now the larger the pieces the more colour and original fabric peeks through. Currently embarking on the Swoon!
I took my first quilting class 20 years ago! I love the fresh, clean look of modern quilts. The book looks awesome! Sure hope I win! :0
I get inspired by modern quilt designs and colors, but I have a lot of respect for the traditional quilts. I’m just starting out and I think this book looks FABULOUS!
I like traditional blocks with modern colors and fabrics.
i’m into modern quilting, which i think can be done with traditional patterns as well, and i’m very excited about this book!
I’ve been quilting for over 20 years, starting out very traditional, civil war, primitive. Today, I’m president of our local modern quilt guild. What a journey!
I’ve only been quilting 2 years but ilove both traditional and modern quilt patterns, but lean more towards modern fabrics.
I tend to prefer traditional blocks. I love the look of modern quilts, but as a relatively new quilter I am still intimidated by some of the shapes and techniques. I think I could learn a lot from this book!
I have not a clue how you can pick a winner from all this. I have been quilting about 5 years. I love the idea of leaving things to my grandchildren in years to come. I pray it will be pasted down to family to fmmily….Having said that all I can say is I like the book and would love to win a copy…..Thank You!
I like symmetry, so I do enjoy a traditional block. However, I love a well-balanced modern look too. I love the bright new patterns. I’m fairly new to quilting. I’ve flipped through the book and it’s beautiful!
Quilting became a passion several years ago…started out traditional but am now heading straight on into modern. Love the book. Thanks for the opportunity to win it!
I have been a sewer/Quilter for a very long time.I LOVE modern fabrics used in traditional blocks.thanks for the chance to win a fabulous book.

I like the fresh colors and prints of modern but some of the traditional block designs, mainly geometric. I’m not a fan of abstract quilt designs.
I love traditional blocks done in a modern way. This book looks like it will be an excellent addition to the library!
I have been quilting for alot of years and enjoy the people that come with it. What a beautiful day it is! Thanks for the chance to win this great book!
I am becoming a modern quilter after about 15 years as a traditional quilter. I think that I like the no rules, no judgment, do what you want to do and love it approach to modern.
I’m an intermediate quilter and do mostly traditional, but I’m trying to break out of my shell and use more brighter colors. The book preview is inspiring!
I’m new to quilting so I haven’t found my exact style yet. But I love these quilts that you showed here. And I like exact pieces not abstract. Thanks for a chance to win!
