This pattern also comes with directions for embellishment options including a tab, button, bow, or flower. I’d love to try this with some Essex Linen. What a cute pattern.
I would love to make it corduroy for the winter! I am new to Indigo Junction and sewing but would love to try many of their patterns… just waiting for my new sewing machine to arrive!
I really like the urban prairie dress pattern and the bubble shorts. Too cute!
what a great looking hat… is that an elastic treatment on the back?
I would like to try the Pin Pals Pets. So cute!
I’ve not seen these patterns before and I love the idea of making a cap. I have some grey pinstripe flannel which would look great with some of this giveaway fabric.
I love the look of the country courier bag pattern and would like to try this. I’ve never used an indygo juncion pattern before
I’ll be honest and admit to not hearing of them before this blog hop! But I have a slightly larger head than the average size and as such have a hard time finding hats, so it’d be awesome to make my own that fits!!
This cap pattern looks very trendy and up to date. I really like their Chic bucket bag and courier bag patterns as well.
Love the uptown apron. Very classy! Thanks.
Collecting letters – it’s such a fun idea! Definitely gonna go and check other sites!
I love to sew children’s clothing and handbags, so I would go with the ruffly trio bag or the Urban prairie dress patterns. Thanks for the chance!
Obviously I would love to make this classic cap pattern! It looks super cute, and I really am digging the fabric shown with it. Otherwise, I think a tan/brown/cargo/camo fabric might be a fun option too!
I hav enever used an Indygo Junction pattern so i went over to the website to have a look. There were so many to choose from. As I am bag lover I went there first and fell in love with the ruffled trio. THEN I went to the yoyo section and decided that the yoyo dachshund is a must sew. Thank you for a great giveaway.
I love this cap! I would choose some fun colors & prints that wouldn’t show my inexpert stiching!
I have been wanting to make a duffle bag so I would love to try her duffle bag pattern!
love the cap….plan to use the smaller size for kids….. thanx for the opportunity….
s cree
I’ve never used an Indygo pattern before but I know someone who would love this hat.
This hat pattern is darling! I would love to win it.
I think I would have to start with the patterns for Purses, and I mean purses. I have an addiction to purses. I love the patterns. As for material…..anything bright that makes me smile is a hit.
Although I ususally don’t wear caps, this is certainly a cute pattern! I like the bow. I can mostly see this is recycled denim, but like the idea of a menswear fabric as well. Thanks so much!
I’ve never sewn with an Indygo Junction pattern, but I have my eye on the Streetcar Purse pattern. It’s adorable.
Thanks for the chance to win!
My first interaction with Indygo Junction in 2010 was definitely a “creative connection” by inspired design; AND, it has literally kept me in stitches ever since! I bought the pattern-book ‘Handle With Style’ at the JoAnn Fabric store near me because it practically jumped off the display. The first 2 things I did next were to sew up the Geisha Box purse & Basic Tote, and visit IJ’s website! I’ve sewn vest & aprons, and have made button- & vintage hanky jewelry and accessories since, all of them from Amy Barickman & her Team. The Classic Cap is very chic, and my daughter will LOVE wearing it; just as soon as I get the pattern (with its easy-to-understand instructions) for her, I’d love to win the beautiful Silent Cinema!
I would like to make a hat. I like this pattern and also the beret seen earlier in the blog pattern parade. I haven’t used an Indygo Junction pattern yet, but love to read the website newsletter and Amy’s blog too. Very inspirational.
I want to try their Day to Night Dress
I just saw the pattern for the Country courier bag and I would love to try that!
I’m not a cap person – but I think this would be fun to make especially with the fabric that you are giving away! What fun!
I haven’t tried an Indygo Junction pattern but I love how many they have. I like that you can find a pattern for any need you have! The cap is super cute and would be fun to wear one of my creations on my head!
Oh how I would love to win that hat pattern!!! I have a plan….Every year at Paducah my best friend and I meet for a week of fun and sewing. We “dress up” in a new outfit every year made by one of us, a jacket a tote bag and accessories. We have never had hats before!!! What a great idea!
I really like this new pattern and the fabric is gorgeous. I think it would be a great pattern also to use recycled fabric on. I have some wool suit coats from men and women which would look great. I also love Amy’s line of zipper patterns. They are so fun.
I’ve never actually made any of Indygo Junction’s patterns, but I just LOVE this hat and could see making several of these for me and my daughter (her’s would have to be blingy, of course).
Having never made a hat before, I would love to try the Classic Cap. My grandkids would love them! And the fabric selection is beautiful! Thanks for a chance to win. This is really fun.
Cute hat pattern!!
My daughter and daughters-in-law would love this cap. I would love a chance to win.
tilleybl@aol.com
Oh wow, I bought & have in process exactly that fabric from SMS for an Anna Maria Horner pattern. That hat would look so cute with that skirt!
I love Indygo Junction patterns. I purchased a couple of little girl jumper and skirts patterns while on our Vermont Shop Hop tour last year. I had never heard of Indygo Junction until that Shop Hop. The patterns were easy to make and very adaptable to any color combination. My granddaughters loved their skirts and jumpers. I just purchased a Christmas Yo-Yo pattern from Indygo Junction and plan to make the reindeer this year for a good friend. Last year I made her an elf. She loves all the designs so I guess she knows what she will be getting for Christmas each year! I definitely recommend these patterns.
i have just discovered Indygo Junction and her lovely patterns…I love the Country Courier Bag pattern and my use the special gift from Sew,Mama,Sew to get this patter:)
I would love to try this hat or the “Thrifted Fashion Bag!” So cute!
i’m a fan of the asymmetrical apron- i like the closure on the shoulder- so much better than a loop over my head!
This is a cute cap pattern and the fabric is so pretty!
I love this style of cap! I’d mke it with the button detail for sure!
Tablet tote!
I have never tried an Indygo pattern, that’s why I hope I can win one. Thanks.
I used the gored skirt pattern from Indigo Junction and it was awesome!!! Then I got the little girl version for my daughter……I’ve been very pleased with both…… thanks for the chance to win!
I really love their pattern for the In-Over-Your-Head Apron; it is so cute! I haven’t had the chance to buy it and try it yet but it is definitely on my to-do list! Such cute patterns!
I love Indygo Junction patterns for jackets and coats, I thing my favourite one is the London Jacket, I’d definitely like to try that one
I have had a long history with Indygo Junction patterns that go back to Amy’s mother, Donna and her store in Des Moines. I have bought many of them over the years and made a lot of them, but not all…
I especially loved the ones for the American Girl Dolls and have made most of them, which my granddaughters love to play with.
All of the Indigo Junction patterns are so cute! But I love the bags…
I love the looks of Indigo Junction’s Tech Pocket & Portfolio Pattern. Just got a new iPad, and it needs some pizzazz! (& protection!) Thanks!
Haven’t tried the indygo patterns yet but I do make hats and the classic cap looks very interesting. love the fabric colors and patterns too. Thanks.
I’ve tried the Pillow Party pattern – made some super cute pillow cases with these patterns.
Patterns I want to try: the zipper Christmas cheer! Those are some awfully cute ornaments!
I’d use a dark grey Essex Linen and use some great turquoise for the lining and underside of brim to add a splash of color!
I have made several bags including the boxy backpack, and the urban shopper. My favorite lately is the Lucy and June apron pattern that I have made as gifts for my sisters. Directions have always been clear and easy to follow. Thanks for the giveaways.
I would like to try the quilted pocket purse. The Classic Cap looks cute but I’m not a hat person.
What a darling cap! I’d sew it in a purple floral.
I made the High Tech tote and had some favorable comments on it. Next a few of Kimmie’s patterns to try.
I’ve never used Indygo Junction patterns, but I love this hat.
I think that it would look great in an Echino linen.
For this cute Classic Cap pattern I would use a great blue batik with yellow accents. Or maybe the ‘shroom or owl print from Alexander Henry …….So many possibilities…..perhaps a scrappy pieced hat would be cute hmmmmmmm?
I will use a tiny houndstooth in charcoal Im waiting to use.
Indygo Junction has a great selection of retro style apron patterns….love sewing with them!
I have their childs pattern girly gored skirt. I would love to try another girls pattern. My experience with them is very positive. She is great and attentive.
Love this hat design and beautiful fabric to create it. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
I would like to make this cap, for fairs, as well as when I garden. My daughter would love one also!
I’ like to make a cap with some summersville…
I love their little girl dress and jumper patterns. THANKS for the chance at this cap pattern – perfect for some Summer sewing for myself and my girls!
I’ve always loved caps like that!
Ah that is the perfect hat! I spent a lot of time in trial and error creating one for myself, but this one looks much better, would love an actual pattern.
I love indygo junction patterns. My daughter-in-law will look so cute in this hat.
Love the patterns!! The London jacket is fab!
Fingers crossed for a giveaway win!
I took a look at all of them, and honestly this hat is my favorite! But I love the saddle bag and streetcar bags too.
Thank you for the generous giveaway, as always a fantastic chance to win!
I’d love to make the Ring Round Apron for my little girl, or the Country Courier Bag for myself. Lots of other nice patterns too, though!
I’ve never sewn with Indygo Junction patterns, but how cute is that hat!? Great giveaway!
I’ve used Indygo Junction patterns for an apron, a purse and a cute tunic. They are very well written, and a lot of cute design options. Thanks for participating and for the giveaway.
Ty Pennington’s fabric collections or David Butler’s release would look great for this cap pattern. I would like to try one of Amy’s bag patterns though are so pretty it is hard to settle on which one.
I like the WhirlyGigs Quilt Pattern! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Tricky to pick a fave pattern as I like so many. I like the Afternoon Tea Apron because I am currently into the idea of layering a custom look apron like that over a simple plain tee and jeans or a basic solid color jersey dress. I also like that composition covers, though, as it would make for a nifty sketch book to-go for my daily commute to/from my office job (gotta squeeze a little creativity into any free moment I can find!).
i love that hat pattern as I have a fairly large noggin (maybe due to the vast amount of curly hair up there) and I like the idea of being able to make my own hat to fit just right.
I have loved Indigo Junction patterns for years. I am especially a fan of their unique ideas for purses and totes. Country Courier bag is a great example of form and function.
What a fun giveaway. Love the hat pattern. I’ve sewn some of their other patterns and they are well-written.
I love the patterns. The styles are simple & sweet, so homespun.
The classic cap is adorable! I would love to make a hat that perfectly fits my head!
The banded beret is SO cute! Would be super cute in a grey/blue wool fabric.
I have a few Indygo Junction Patterns, but have only made two – a purse and wallet. I do love the final result, but I found the instructions could use some refining – even as an experienced sewist, I had to read some parts several times “to get it”.
I’m always happy to give them another try! I should dig out another purse pattern and make a summer one.
Thank you for the giveaway! I really like their Garden Party Pullover pattern, I’d love to make it sometime.
What a great giveaway!! I’d probably use some lightweight brown corduroy I have for the hat. Or, if I don’t have enough, I might pick up some menswear plaids. I love hats made from that!
I am in love with all things Indigo Junction. I’ve been coveting the classic cap since they introduced the pattern. While I like the bias skirt, the most fun pattern is the circle scarves because a bunch of friends can have a scarf making party cutting our circles from felted sweaters and mixing and matching.
I would love to try one of their patterns- I haven’t yet.
I haven’t tried Indygo Junction patterns yet, but there are so many cute ones!! I definitely want to try this Classic Cap – SO cute. I also like that Day to Night dress!
Hello:
The classic cap is very versatile and would go great
with Indygo Junction’s Chic Bucket bag.
I have been a fan of Indygo Junction’s apron and bag patterns and have made up some nice projects from these patterns.
Looking forward to seeing more creative ideas.
Happy sewing,
Jean
Enjoy the introduction to so many sewing sites for more sewing opportunities.
I’m not a hat person, but I kinda love this one. I’d want to go a bit military if I made this–I’d make it out of olive garbadine or maybe chocolate brown corduroy.
I’ve had the pleasure of sewing one of Amy’s bag patterns (the name escapes me right now) and found it to be user friendly- as well as stylish! I’d enjoy making this hat in denim and same the great fabric for a bag!
Nice pattern. I would love a cap like that.
I would totally make the Coronation Clutch. It’s such a cute purse, yet sophisticated as well.
Cute hat!
What a cute hat pattern. Love all the Indygo Patterns!! TOOOOOO
Cute.
I haven’t sewn with any IJ patterns before but I have been looking for a cap pattern for my hubby! Do you think this would work for a man’s cap? He has a beloved Pendleton wool shirt that has worn out in the elbows. I would love to upcycle it into a cap so that he can hang onto his favorite plaid a little longer.
I love all their patterns but would mostly like to try the Country Courier bag.
The hat pattern is too cute! Would love to make it for gifts and for me! I love Indygo Junction patterns and just ordered the kimono and a jacket pattern. Waiting by the mailbox!
Would like to try making the courier bag and those yo-yo elves are adorable. Will have to have some of those for Christmas. Thanks!
I’ve made an Indygo Junction vest and thought it was well designed and the pattern was easy to follow. This cap looks like something my granddaughter would like. I’m thinking a faux seude was be darling.
I made an Indygo Junction sun hat with a medium wide brim for my daughter when she went to Girl Scout Camp. (many years ago) She picked out a purple fabric with carrots and beets on it and an orange fabric with bright yellow dots for the lining. We made it reversable and she loved wearing it because it was the only one like it. I think she might like this cool Classic Cap in wool or corduroy for the winter.
I love Indygo Junction patterns. I have made several and find them uncomplicated and a breeze to make!
I really like the cap, especially in the picture with the gray and yellow fabric combo. I think gray and yellow are awesome right now! Maybe maroon too, because I saw a similar style cap in maroon recently and really liked it. It’s been pretty sunny here lately, so I know I’d wear a hat a lot on my walks outside.
i think this cap would look great in ombres!
Thanks for the great giveaway. Neat Cap and lovely fabric. Indygo Junction pattersn are the best.
What a fantastic pattern. I think the very first pattern I ever bought ( for a stuffed bunny) was an Indygo Junction one!
The cap pattern is cute! I am wanting to make some apron gifts, so I would choose the kitchen charm or uptown pattern
I just love the hat!, must have!
I have the yo-yo elephant and yo-yo bunny patterns, so cute! Would love to make this hat or one of the skirts!!
I am a huge fan of stuffed animals and toys so the “Miniature Menagerie” is right up my alley. Also, the “Every Day Dish Towels” are delightful. I love the personality of these patterns.
I love hats! This would be a great pattern to try to supplement my hat and pattern collection!
never sewn a pattern from them but I love the day to night dress,
Oh wow! that is a super cute cap! I havent used one of Indygo Junctions patterns before…after browsing I am loving the assymetrical apron. But the Ideal Duffle is a close second. I love reusing jeans my boys grow out of.
Want to try the Day to Night dress.
I haven’t used an Indigo Junction pattern, but I’m glad that I am introduced to them!! The one I have my eye on first is a quilt pattern: Whirlygigs Quilt
I have fallen for all of Indigo Junction’s women shirts and tops patterns! sigh. . .
Pin Pal Pets is cute!!
I’d love to try the hat pattern shown at the top of the page. But it would be for my daughters.

be able to wear this one it is very very cute!!
I would love to make this hat! This is actually the one I was waiting for in the parade and I have the perfect green felt to make one with
I’d like to make the Grommet Grab Bag.
I’d love to make the Classic Cap pattern and put the tab and button detail on it. I like the fact that it has elastic on the back so one can get a better fit. The Silent Cinema fabrics are gorgeous!
My grand daughter would just love the hat. I have found that Endygo Junction patterns are easy to read and follow. They always come up with great idea’s.
I have their Pieced Pincushions pattern that I haven’t tried but have been dying to make.
I have several of their apron pattern, which are great! I would like to try the ‘Day to Night’ dress pattern, and I really like the courier bag recently featured in the pattern parade:)
Beautiful and interseting stuff every day!
I like the hat and think that I could embellish it with flowers cut out with my “Big Shot” machine….BUT…I loved the “Serged Sachel” purse pattern. It looks difficult, but I’m thinking that it is easier than it looks. The fabric possibilities are endless.
Happy Sewing!
I like the cap for both my daughter and myself. Of course her would have to be young and kicky. I would not mind mine in any of the materials you show. I see there is elastic at the back…we too have a larger size hat size and my daughter has thick hair as well. So will be nice to adjust it. The apron on the last site was pretty too.
I’d use a great stripe to make the cap, so cute!
The Day to Night dress looks so comfy!
I haven’t tried any of their patterns before, but I would love to try this hat pattern. I would make it out of courderoy for my daughter. Thanks for the chance to win.
I really want to try their Patchwork Pals pattern.
I hadn’t really looked at IJ patterns before. For myself, I’d like the Day to Night Dress or the gored skirt. For my daughter, I’d like the uptown tops/bottoms pattern. She doesn’t like dresses, so this seems like a good compromise.
i love the look of the courier bag. thanks!
I would love to try the pillow party pattern.
The cap is lovely, the fabric wonderful
I want to try and make this for me because caps are usually too big for my head and look dorky. The Silent Cinema fabric is perfect and I would love to have that.
I never try any pattern from Indygo before…would really love to try the Grommet Grab Bag pattern. thanks for the giveaway!
I would love to try their yo yo animal patterns. I love this cap too! thanks!
I have never used any of her patterns, but think I would like to make one of her purses. Nice unusual designs and would be fun to make.
Cute! I’d love to make one.
I’d love to make the cap with some recycled denim from hubby’s old jeans. I don’t have experience sewing with denim but this would be a fun project to try out. It looks cute and fashionable and for a mommy with a toddler who loves to pull or play with my red hair, a hat is super appealing!
Wow love the hat would be great for this thinning hair person.
JeanneZ
My daughter would love this hat!
I really want to make the Alice in Wonderland christmas ornaments. They are so cute!
I really like this hat. I have been enjoying patterns from Indygo for years. I have my fabric ready to start a purse now I have to decide which pattern I’m going to use.
I love this pattern. Hopefully I will win and have a chance to make it!
The hat is very cute, but hats don’t look that good on me. My DIL would like it. I really like the Country Courier Bag from Indygo Junction & I think it would look really nice in the fabric you have shown above.
I just bought the “Composition Covers” pattern and can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the chance to win!
I have friends in sunny climates that would love a personalized hat. Great look!
I can’t count how many IDJ patterns I’ve made over the years – LOTS! I can always count on the patterns being easy to follow and well tested, plus there’s always so much to choose from!
I am going to make the Day-Shift Dress – IJ807, I purchased the pattern last week! It will make a great tunic top too, just shorten it a bit.
Thanks for being on the hop!
Throw my name in the hat.
What a cute cap! And the fabrics shown are even cuter. <3 Only recently I found this blog and I'm totally inspired now to sew lots. This cap would be a really cute one to make. If not with the shown fabrics, I'd love to make it with look-alike jeans with some tiny cute roses fabric accents…
The Ideal Duffle would be my favourite project! I love bags with lots of space (without beeing a “potato sack”
– and it looks so cool!
Cute hat! Very versatile with all those sizes.
What a cute hat pattern! And I love that Silent Cinema fabric! I’d love to make the Victory Bag! Thanks for a chance to win!

Love those hats! That’s what I’d try!
Oh My Goodness!!! I LOVE the Indygo Junction Patterns and I have been looking for a hat pattern to try! I want to make it with ALL my fabrics – one for every outfit! I have a list of Indygo Junction patterns that I want to try – The Clothesline Bag, the Serged Satchell, the Trench Topper ….. ooh a hat to match the Topper and the Bag!!!
I have used a number of Indygo Junction patterns over the years, but especially like a tote bag (not sure of the name??) awhile back. Keep ‘em coming!
That cap is so lovely! But I’ve seen so many other cute patterns on their website. A quilted pocket purse, a victory bag or a street car bag and Eloise & Elmore are so cute too. I don’t know where to start!
I would love to try making the asymmetrical apron, or the coronation clutch! Such cute and fun patterns!
Indygo Junction has some amazing bags/purses/carriers…and I want to make them all!
I would love to make this hat for may daughter who will be celebrating her birthday over the long week-end.
Interesting fabric combination. Love hat patterns as that allows me to make hats that fit the large heads in the family.
I want to try your classic cap for my daughter-in-law who is undergoing chemo.
I love the classic cap pattern. I think it would be great in a denim fabric!
I would like to try a purse or apron pattern, maybe the uptown apron. So many great choices.
The Saddle Bag. Maybe in wool.
I like the Changing Seasons pillow pattern, although some of the zipper jewelry patterns look interesting, too!
I have never used their pattern before, but they all look pretty interesting
I love this Classic Cap pattern,I would adore it in the flowered fabric!
Love pattern. Linda gerig
Very cute cap and fabrics! I am not really into caps, but I can see my granddaughter in one of these!
I have not yet used an Indygo Junction pattern before. But, I would like to try the Petal Blossom Bag pattern.

Indygo Junction patterns are well written and directions are easy to follow even for beginners. Cute cap!
