I’ll be honest and admit to not hearing of them before this blog hop! But I have a slightly larger head than the average size and as such have a hard time finding hats, so it’d be awesome to make my own that fits!!

Obviously I would love to make this classic cap pattern! It looks super cute, and I really am digging the fabric shown with it. Otherwise, I think a tan/brown/cargo/camo fabric might be a fun option too!
I hav enever used an Indygo Junction pattern so i went over to the website to have a look. There were so many to choose from. As I am bag lover I went there first and fell in love with the ruffled trio. THEN I went to the yoyo section and decided that the yoyo dachshund is a must sew. Thank you for a great giveaway.

I think I would have to start with the patterns for Purses, and I mean purses. I have an addiction to purses. I love the patterns. As for material…..anything bright that makes me smile is a hit.
Although I ususally don’t wear caps, this is certainly a cute pattern! I like the bow. I can mostly see this is recycled denim, but like the idea of a menswear fabric as well. Thanks so much!

My first interaction with Indygo Junction in 2010 was definitely a “creative connection” by inspired design; AND, it has literally kept me in stitches ever since! I bought the pattern-book ‘Handle With Style’ at the JoAnn Fabric store near me because it practically jumped off the display. The first 2 things I did next were to sew up the Geisha Box purse & Basic Tote, and visit IJ’s website! I’ve sewn vest & aprons, and have made button- & vintage hanky jewelry and accessories since, all of them from Amy Barickman & her Team. The Classic Cap is very chic, and my daughter will LOVE wearing it; just as soon as I get the pattern (with its easy-to-understand instructions) for her, I’d love to win the beautiful Silent Cinema!
I would like to make a hat. I like this pattern and also the beret seen earlier in the blog pattern parade. I haven’t used an Indygo Junction pattern yet, but love to read the website newsletter and Amy’s blog too. Very inspirational.

I haven’t tried an Indygo Junction pattern but I love how many they have. I like that you can find a pattern for any need you have! The cap is super cute and would be fun to wear one of my creations on my head!
Oh how I would love to win that hat pattern!!! I have a plan….Every year at Paducah my best friend and I meet for a week of fun and sewing. We “dress up” in a new outfit every year made by one of us, a jacket a tote bag and accessories. We have never had hats before!!! What a great idea!
I really like this new pattern and the fabric is gorgeous. I think it would be a great pattern also to use recycled fabric on. I have some wool suit coats from men and women which would look great. I also love Amy’s line of zipper patterns. They are so fun.
I’ve never actually made any of Indygo Junction’s patterns, but I just LOVE this hat and could see making several of these for me and my daughter (her’s would have to be blingy, of course).

I love Indygo Junction patterns. I purchased a couple of little girl jumper and skirts patterns while on our Vermont Shop Hop tour last year. I had never heard of Indygo Junction until that Shop Hop. The patterns were easy to make and very adaptable to any color combination. My granddaughters loved their skirts and jumpers. I just purchased a Christmas Yo-Yo pattern from Indygo Junction and plan to make the reindeer this year for a good friend. Last year I made her an elf. She loves all the designs so I guess she knows what she will be getting for Christmas each year! I definitely recommend these patterns.

I really love their pattern for the In-Over-Your-Head Apron; it is so cute! I haven’t had the chance to buy it and try it yet but it is definitely on my to-do list! Such cute patterns!

I have had a long history with Indygo Junction patterns that go back to Amy’s mother, Donna and her store in Des Moines. I have bought many of them over the years and made a lot of them, but not all…
I especially loved the ones for the American Girl Dolls and have made most of them, which my granddaughters love to play with.

I’ve tried the Pillow Party pattern – made some super cute pillow cases with these patterns.
Patterns I want to try: the zipper Christmas cheer! Those are some awfully cute ornaments!
I’d use a dark grey Essex Linen and use some great turquoise for the lining and underside of brim to add a splash of color!
I have made several bags including the boxy backpack, and the urban shopper. My favorite lately is the Lucy and June apron pattern that I have made as gifts for my sisters. Directions have always been clear and easy to follow. Thanks for the giveaways.

I think that it would look great in an Echino linen.
For this cute Classic Cap pattern I would use a great blue batik with yellow accents. Or maybe the ‘shroom or owl print from Alexander Henry …….So many possibilities…..perhaps a scrappy pieced hat would be cute hmmmmmmm?

Tricky to pick a fave pattern as I like so many. I like the Afternoon Tea Apron because I am currently into the idea of layering a custom look apron like that over a simple plain tee and jeans or a basic solid color jersey dress. I also like that composition covers, though, as it would make for a nifty sketch book to-go for my daily commute to/from my office job (gotta squeeze a little creativity into any free moment I can find!).
i love that hat pattern as I have a fairly large noggin (maybe due to the vast amount of curly hair up there) and I like the idea of being able to make my own hat to fit just right.
I have loved Indigo Junction patterns for years. I am especially a fan of their unique ideas for purses and totes. Country Courier bag is a great example of form and function.

I have a few Indygo Junction Patterns, but have only made two – a purse and wallet. I do love the final result, but I found the instructions could use some refining – even as an experienced sewist, I had to read some parts several times “to get it”.
I’m always happy to give them another try! I should dig out another purse pattern and make a summer one.

What a great giveaway!! I’d probably use some lightweight brown corduroy I have for the hat. Or, if I don’t have enough, I might pick up some menswear plaids. I love hats made from that!
I am in love with all things Indigo Junction. I’ve been coveting the classic cap since they introduced the pattern. While I like the bias skirt, the most fun pattern is the circle scarves because a bunch of friends can have a scarf making party cutting our circles from felted sweaters and mixing and matching.
I would love to try one of their patterns- I haven’t yet.

I’m not a hat person, but I kinda love this one. I’d want to go a bit military if I made this–I’d make it out of olive garbadine or maybe chocolate brown corduroy.
I’ve had the pleasure of sewing one of Amy’s bag patterns (the name escapes me right now) and found it to be user friendly- as well as stylish! I’d enjoy making this hat in denim and same the great fabric for a bag!

I haven’t sewn with any IJ patterns before but I have been looking for a cap pattern for my hubby! Do you think this would work for a man’s cap? He has a beloved Pendleton wool shirt that has worn out in the elbows. I would love to upcycle it into a cap so that he can hang onto his favorite plaid a little longer.

I’ve made an Indygo Junction vest and thought it was well designed and the pattern was easy to follow. This cap looks like something my granddaughter would like. I’m thinking a faux seude was be darling.
I made an Indygo Junction sun hat with a medium wide brim for my daughter when she went to Girl Scout Camp. (many years ago) She picked out a purple fabric with carrots and beets on it and an orange fabric with bright yellow dots for the lining. We made it reversable and she loved wearing it because it was the only one like it. I think she might like this cool Classic Cap in wool or corduroy for the winter.
I love Indygo Junction patterns. I have made several and find them uncomplicated and a breeze to make!
I really like the cap, especially in the picture with the gray and yellow fabric combo. I think gray and yellow are awesome right now! Maybe maroon too, because I saw a similar style cap in maroon recently and really liked it. It’s been pretty sunny here lately, so I know I’d wear a hat a lot on my walks outside.

Oh wow! that is a super cute cap! I havent used one of Indygo Junctions patterns before…after browsing I am loving the assymetrical apron. But the Ideal Duffle is a close second. I love reusing jeans my boys grow out of.

I like the hat and think that I could embellish it with flowers cut out with my “Big Shot” machine….BUT…I loved the “Serged Sachel” purse pattern. It looks difficult, but I’m thinking that it is easier than it looks. The fabric possibilities are endless.

I like the cap for both my daughter and myself. Of course her would have to be young and kicky. I would not mind mine in any of the materials you show. I see there is elastic at the back…we too have a larger size hat size and my daughter has thick hair as well. So will be nice to adjust it. The apron on the last site was pretty too.

I hadn’t really looked at IJ patterns before. For myself, I’d like the Day to Night Dress or the gored skirt. For my daughter, I’d like the uptown tops/bottoms pattern. She doesn’t like dresses, so this seems like a good compromise.

Oh My Goodness!!! I LOVE the Indygo Junction Patterns and I have been looking for a hat pattern to try! I want to make it with ALL my fabrics – one for every outfit! I have a list of Indygo Junction patterns that I want to try – The Clothesline Bag, the Serged Satchell, the Trench Topper ….. ooh a hat to match the Topper and the Bag!!!
