Family Crafting Month ~ Free Projects from Craft-a-Day! (+ a Givewaway)
We’re excited to kick off Family Crafting Month with Sarah Goldschadt, author of Craft-a-Day: 365 Simple Handmade Projects. We love it when generations gather during the holiday season to create fun things together, and we also like fresh, new ideas for kid crafting time during the school break. Making things with your hands is the perfect way to calm (and direct!) some of the busy energy and excitement that grows in the holiday season. We have a fantastic line-up of contributors ahead this month including Emily Neuburger, Jenny Doh, Joel Henriques, Abby Glassenberg and Jenean Morrison.
Update: Comment on today’s post to win a free copy of Craft-a-Day!

I remember doing crafts with my mom and dad and sister as a family. Those are previous memories. Kids might not think much of it at the time, but it’s good quality time that kids will remember. Giving them a love of creativity is such a gift that helps them discover themselves and the world around them. Kudos to this mom for helping spread this wonderful craft.
