		<description>These would work as cold packs too.  Just put them in a freezer bag in the freezer.  My kids get growing pains at night and the cold rice packs are perfect.  They aren&#039;t too cold and they don&#039;t melt. :) They do warm up faster than other cold packs but my kids are usually asleep by then.</description>

		<description>Holly - I tested several kinds of fur (weighted under a rice bag and heated quite hot) and there was no melting. You might want to test your own too - just to be safe - but I don&#039;t think you&#039;ll have a problem.</description>
