Well I guess I should start out by saying that I failed sewing in high school many yrs. back. However I have always loved any kind of craft and being creative….and I have taught myself many crafts. This past year I wanted to try to learn to sew and bought a sewing machine. I decided to recycle kids clothes to make my items. I ended up making all of my Christmas gifts for my family….6 denim rag quilts…and many other non sewn items. They all turned out great and I was so proud of myself. I recently recycled part of a baby bed to make my own peg board to go over my sewing machine cabinet. It is way better than a store bought one and very colorful. I am unemployed and can’t afford to buy supplies, so I get very creative and mostly use items that I have on hand….so winning would be absolutely wonderful and a genuine blessing! <3
