    I just have to be a stickler here, while that patchwork binding is gorgeous, and one of my own favorite scrap busting ideas you’ve posted this month – it is NOT bias tape. Bias tape is cut “on the bias” (on the diagonal) and it’s pretty near impossible to make from scraps. <3

    This is such a great idea. I can’t stand to through any scrap away. I have started some Crazy quilting squares to use up my scraps and to have a portable quilting project.

    Wow — a new blog to explore! Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I keep every.little.bit because I heart fabric and can’t bear to throw any of it away. So some of the little bits can join forces and become strings! and bias tape! Fun fun fun!

    So much prettier withe hand running-stitch! I made some ties for an envelope pillow back using the same folding method, but with a machine stitched line. You can see it here: http://poppyprintcreates.blogspot.com/2009/09/la-tour-eiffel.html
    It just decorates the pillow back a little bit and makes it pretty like the front, too!
