My daughter will love these. Thanks!
I’ve got no babies or dolls to diaper, but, I think my favorite part of Scrap Buster month is being introduced to so many new people and new blogs! My google reader doesn’t know what hit it!
very cute…thanks for the great idea!
ha! i have this same cabbage patch kid that my husband keeps trying to make me get rid of. but i always tell him i had it since childhood. she needs some new diapers! thanks.
Oh, this is just the thing for my 18mo old’s “babies”. Thanks!
Am pretty sure my daughter will be demanding bunches and bunches of these once she sees one… so cute!
Very cute! When I was little my Grandmother used take scraps and make diapers and underwear for my dolls. I even specifically remember one pair of underwear that I had myself that I loved, when I grew out of them she turned them into underwear for my dolls!
I love using cloth diapers on my kids. What a great idea to remind them as they get bigger to use them on their own kids!
so fun! I’m really enjoying this month. So many new friends to check out.
So awesome! We just started cloth diapering and my older daughter likes to pretend to do everything I do with her baby dolls!
LOL! That is too cute! Great idea!
I wish I had a reason to make one of these. I super *heart* bald Cabbage Patch babies!!
Thank you for this one! I have been thinking about making one (or more) of these for my daughter and her stuffed dog!
So cute! It’s a great tute!
Very sweet!!
Jenny
Thanks for this Tute. My 2 year old always wants to put nappies(diapers) on my old cabbage patch down, now I can make him some correct size ones.
too cute! Isn’t it annouying how the dolly diapersalways disappear!? My cabbage patch doll has been toilet trained for years now!
Great idea! No wonder you did not sleep through the night with an idea like that running through your head.
Wonderful idea! Thanks for the tutorial!
Great idea!
I haven’t seen a Cabbage Patch for years! I remember the scary line-ups of frantic mothers at Zellers (the Canadian version of K-mart) 30 years ago at Christmas time all vying for a CPD.
You are all so sweet! Thank you. I’m having a great time visiting all of your sites. Also, I just posted a giveaway that some of you might be interested in!
Great idea! I actually make diapers for my own child but these would be great for their dolls. Maybe I will use the scrap fabric from the baby’s diapers to make a doll diaper to match.
Excellent idea, use up the scraps and no more naked dolls!
What a great idea! My girls use some preemie cloth diapers left over from their preemie twin days for their babies, but even those are a bit too big, so I think I’ll be making these!
LOL—I’ve never imagined myself sewing dolls’ diapers, but my children would love a stash of these. Thanks for the inspiration!
I paid good money for some of these from American Girl. Grrr.. if only I had known how to make them back then. But seriously, they are a really fun way to help demonstrate the idea of wearing underpants for potty training to little ones.
I used to make these kind of diapers for my daughter and I will be making them for my granddaughters. For an added idea, sew a couple of lines of lace ruffles across for a rumba frill diaper cover.
