October 14 Scrap Buster ~ Patchwork Buckets & Boxes

Patchwork Bucket by Constança, Saidos da Concha

Constança used scraps to create this fabric bucket, using a burlap bucket pattern from Maya*Made.

We have a free Bucket Pattern you could use. We’d love to see it sewn up like Constança’s scrap bucket! Elizabeth’s Stacking & Nesting Box Pattern would be great fun with this approach too. For more ideas try here, and be sure to link to related, completed projects or tutorials in the comments!

Win a Scrap Bag from Sew,Mama,Sew! Comment on any post this week for your chance to win one of two Scrap Bags from the shop.

I’m going to have to try that. I need to start keeping my yarn stash straight. Hadn’t thought of putting my (as yet) Unused scrap extras to that use. :)

I love the look of these. I have been wanting to learn how to make the fabric boxes and buckets because I need them to organize and they look so cute. Thank you for providing such nice tutorials for me to learn how.

By the way, in my opinion, Sew Mama Sew is in a league of its own. Of all the blogs I’ve visited, you are really superior in every way. I simply love your site as you never fail to provide something new or innovative for most everyone. I hope you never stop doing what you are doing. Thank you so much!! I am a true SMS fan.
