Scrap Buster Contest Entry ~ Patchwork Star Tutorial

Lina from Linaloo shares her Patchwork Star Tutorial. She adds that these sell really well at craft fairs, they make nice decorations for the holidays and the stars are a perfect use for scraps!

    I love this little star. I’m going to make some right away for the Christmas tree. My little boy is one and he’ll need some “okay for play” ornaments.

    That’s just darling! What a cute idea to add to the wrapping of Christmas presents too! Maybe a bunch of them to put on a little tree? My DD would just love it!

    I love stars at Christmas. I had some paper stars hanging from the ceiling and they have worn out. Now I have found their replacement. Very, very cute, thank you for posting, good instructions.

    I’ve tried making this several times & mine looks nothing like yours :( I can’t get 5 triangles to come out to a star shape. Any words of advice? These would have been so much better than a bow made of ribbon. Kris

    For Kris: Hi this is Lina – you need five diamonds (not triangles unfortunately!) to get you a star shape. Hope that helps!!!
