Very pretty! I love learning new quilt piecing techniques and this is a new one to me, yay!

I’m making a quilt with this pattern as well! I have been making it since I was about 19 I think. I’m 26 now. I’ve only seriously gotten into it in the last year or two though. Yes, I am slow but it is a GREAT take along project. I am paper piecing it by hand so it’s quite small and easy to work on when you are waiting in a waiting room or during your lunch break.
I love the colors that you chose! Beautiful.

I’ve been wanting to try to make some hexagons, so pretty! But I’m just starting to make my very first quilt, so this will probably have to wait a bit till I get better.

What an inspiring tutorial! Those tiny whip stitches make me want to run, not walk, to the sewing room. But first I’m off to search the Net for Quilt Patis!

Wow, Gretchen! I’ve never seen a more beautiful quilt! Even though it’s meant to be old fashioned, it really is right in line with some of the modern designs for bedrooms. I hope I don’t go over the top in saying, “You are a Quilt Genius.”

I’d never seen a quilt pati before — that would save a ton of time, which is obviously needed to do all the sewing on this quilt. The quilt is beatiful and very dear.
