Patchwork scarf by Allison, La Mammina

Allison made this patchwork “Molly birds scarf” for her daughter (find the bird fabric’s story here). She also made a great tree scarf for a three year old’s birthday present. Have you made yours yet? Enjoy Allison’s other photos on Flickr and her blog, La Mammina.

Puppy pants by Kirsten, kirsten*can

Kirsten repurposed her sister’s old brown cords for these puppy pants, “spruced up” with some Heather Ross fabric. Discover what else those cords turned into on Kirsten’s blog, kirsten*can, and visit her Flickr site too.

Birdseed dress by Angie, Pretty Me

Angie used Alexander Henry fabric for this beautiful dress. She designs “sweet clothing for hip girlies.” For more visit Pretty Me and Flickr.

Jackie’s triceratops shirt by Jessie, sweet jessie

Jessie created this appliqué triceratops shirt for her son, Jackie, with his guidance (they had to find the right dinosaur image, and orange was the way to go). Enjoy Jessie’s good fabric karma and craft on her blog, sweet jessie, and her Flickr site.

LOVE that dinosaur. I just put a dino on the back of a hoodie for my son, and it didn’t even occur to me to use a patterned fabric.

I love that birdseed dress – I think that I need one for me! And I must make some scarves (plenty of time to get them done before next winter though in Australia). Great inspiration!

The pink bird dress is adorable. It inspires me to want to sew formy daughter again. She is 8 and it is getting hard to find dresses for her that are not meant to make her look 21. She is my little girl not a college student, for pete’s sake! What is the big hurry to make them grow up? Thanks for sharing these great childrens’ clothes!

I would love to make my boys really cute clothes, but the way they destroy an outfit in no time at all, I don’t even bother!
