November 20 ~ Gifts for Organization

We absolutely love today’s tutorials and need at least a half dozen of these to help us organize our lives. You’ll want to make some as gifts and some for yourself!
Corkboard/Wall Pocket
Have you wondered how to make the great wall pockets you see on crafty blogs? They are fantastic as inspiration boards and a fun way to give favorite fabrics a strong visual presence in your environment. Linda from Craft Apple shows you how to make one for yourself (oh, and for gifts too!) with her Corkboard/Wall Pocket Tutorial.
Car Organizer
Alicia’s Car Organizer Tutorial is a great solution for vehicle clutter and would make a great holiday gift; Alicia writes, “…Sneak into your sister’s minivan and take a few measurements!” Visit Alicia’s blog, mayfly, for more inspiration.
Quick Pocket
Tracy from Crafty Beats made her Quick Pocket from a dishtowel. In an hour and a half she created a pretty, tidy solution to shelf clutter and she shares it with you in her Quick Pocket Tutorial.
Pleated Pocket Front Door Organizer
Meg’s Pleated Pocket Front Door Organizer Tutorial provides a place to put many of life’s little items as you come and go. Visit Meg’s blog, Montessori by Hand, for more innovative and beautiful ideas.

These are awesome ideas! There are too many to choose from! Martha Stewart’s website has a hand towel caddy pattern that I made to store hairbrushes in. I was just thinking about how useful it was getting ready this morning so today’s organization entry is right up my alley! Here is a link to a picture of the caddy I made:
