December 12 ~ Melissa’s tutorial links, wristlets & more

Our Friday drawing for one of two weekly, $25 gift certificates to Sew,Mama,Sew! will be here before you know it. Don’t forget to comment anywhere on the blog for your chance to win a fantastic selection of free fabric.

We have lots of fun links for you today!

25 Days of Christmas Craft
By Melissa, One Crafty Mumma

Melissa is sharing a holiday craft every day through Christmas on her blog, One Crafty Mumma. Her site is full of fun tutorials (like this great Denim Christmas Tree Ornament Tutorial and a tutorial to make the reindeer on our main page), and how-tos (we love this Glitter Playdough!). Melissa creates in Tasmania, Australia and we know you’ll have fun with all of her crafty inspiration.

Handcrafters’ Holidays Meme
Rachel is getting ready for her a baby girl (on the way any day now!) but she still has a few things left in her Vintage Songbird shop. She’s made lots of great gifts for friends and family and writes about them on her Vintage Songbird blog. Rachel’s made lots of quilted zippered wristlets like this one (which incorporates some of our favorite Katie Jump Rope fabrics!) using Caro’s tutorial in our Purses compilation.

Handcrafters’ Holidays Meme, continued!
Stefanie of Artsy Momma has a great collection of answers to the meme, including links to her favorite meatloaf recipe and a truly impressive handmade gift list. She has a nice theme gift idea, her Artsy Momma shop with lots of handmade totes and scarves and more for you to enjoy on her blog.

Melissa from Elemental Stitches also has lots of wonderful meme answers and her Scent of Rain Designs shop with gifts you can buy. Melissa’s favorite family holiday tradition is decorating the house and tree, and she has several loved ones she’s missing this holiday season. She shares “sneak peeks” at holiday gifts (with lots of intricate embroidery) on her blog too.

Want to join us? Check out the Sew, Mama, Sew! Handcrafters’ Holidays blog meme!

Our Gift to You
You can print our free gift tags for attaching to all of your lovely handcrafted gifts. They read “Handmade with Love” and “I made it for you.”

Want more handcraft inspiration? Visit the Handmade Holidays photo pool and don’t forget about our Handmade Holidays Tutorials.
