February 1 ~ Quilt of the Day

Doll Quilt
By Rashida, i heart linen

Rashida’s hand appliquéd doll quilt measures 18″ x 24″ and the quilting was done by machine.

She writes, “My favorite colors are any type of blues/greens. So I went with the aquas and turquoises. I wanted to create something very modern, but still with a sort of traditional feel to it. I’ll definitely be making another this year since my sewing has improved!” Rashida wrote about the quilt on her blog here, here and here (and she adds: “Don’t worry. They aren’t long posts!”).
