SMS Tutorial Contest Winners!
The judges echoed comments on each entry post this month; everyone was impressed with the creativity and clarity in the tutorials, and the beautiful photography and sewing expertise. We all found lots of new-to-us blogs to love and have filled our sewing to-do lists with great new projects! There was a bit of a tie so we added an extra prize, and also included an honorable mention. Please help us congratulate the winners:

- And… Christy from Christy’s Creations shared seven tutorials in the SMS Tutorial Contest so we decided she needed an Honorable Mention (and a yard of her choice from the shop)!

I’ve really enjoyed seeing all the tutorials in this competition, as well as taking part. I’ve added lots more things to my to-sew list now! Thanks so much for choosing my napkin set and pouch as one of the winners. I am so thrilled

This has been so much fun–I’ve bookmarked quite a few of these tutorials for future projects. It’s not easy to create someting new and showing someone else how to do it is a real gift. Thanks to all!

What a great service this is for we novices. All this great information in one place. It is just awesome. At age 72 I am just getting into sewing and all I feel comfortable with are small projects. I believe that this eventually will lead to larger products once I get my confidence level up. I have a fear of failing and this keeps me from doing things I know I can probably do.
This is so fantastic! I love all the ideas. I’m already thinking of making Christmas presents thanks to this tutorial contest.
