Your site is inspiring! Anytime I need a jumpstart for pulling out the sewing machine I just visit your site! I can’t wait to see what is coming next and I can’t wait to visit my local fabric store to stock up on fabrics for the next project that strikes my fancy. I also drool over your fabric and would love to win a bit of it. I particularly loved the holiday projects. And as a novice sewer, I have learned many tricks of the trade that I didn’t have the patience to learn from my mom when I was 12. My day is just a little bit better when I visit this blog.

I plan on sewing a lot more this summer. In fact, I am starting on my goal for this year, which is to make all of my Christmas gifts. I have attempted to make some of my gifts in the past and usually have a good response from most of my family members. I just never really get around to planning early enough to accomplish making everything.

If anyone here would like to join the flickr pool and all work on accomplishing whatever handmade goals that we each may have this year, that would be great!
