I just love, love, love it: probably because I love fabric, and trueup is all about fabric. So if you haven’t checked it out, I really can’t say enough in favor of you doing so!

KLTworks.com A local artist here in the NW began a blog for her art work, and I love what she makes – felt animals made into cute baby mobiles and more. She doesn’t update much…but I keep checking on her to see what’s new. Please stop by and leave her a note that you’d like to hear more from her….I know she’d love the response! Her art is see all over in the NW, and I think she’s “big” in Australia somehow too. Gotta love the internet!

By the way…I am LOVING the fabric on your opening entry for today. It so reminds me of the designer on Project Runway this season, named “Kenley.” I would love a Peter Pan collared shirt made of the turquoise and red. :) If only I had a good pattern for that. Anybody know of any?

i’ve been reading the blog/vlog of john and hank green, brothers who decided to communicate textlessly for the year of 2007, and became so popular that they’ve kept at it since! they are hilariously funny–hank is the man behind ecogeek.com, and john is a wonderful young adult lit author who has already won the printz award (YA award the equivalent of the newbery or caldecott) once, and had a second book be honorable mention for it. pretty snazzy for a guy who has only published two books and is the tender age of 30. or 31. next book comes out in september. but anyway, they are a good time and good resource. they can be found at youtube by looking for vlogbrothers.
crossing my fingers for fabric! you guys are a great resource too!!!!

I’m in love with Amy’s blog over at http://angrychicken.typepad.com/angry_chicken/. I check in regularly over there, since she’s always posting something new and interesting, and not always about sewing either. She talks a lot about her home life and the new recipes she tries, and she’s apparently a vegetarian, so she’s got loads of great info about that. Plus I always go and drool over what everyone says about her book, Bend The Rules sewing, and dream about giving in and buying it before my local library carries it, lol.

I’m so loving that new fabric line! Hope I win this one, I’d be so thrilled! =0)

I recently started looking at http://fashion-incubator.com/mt/ on a regular basis. As a new(ish) home sewer, much of it is over my head, but I’m learning a lot of good habits too.

Does it have to be a crafting/sewing blog? I visit http://www.rainbowcamp.org/joe/ this blog daily. This couple is hiking the entire (over 2000 miles) Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. The blog is their trail journal. They will be done in about 3 weeks! As for sewing, I go to http://www.heatherbailey.typepad.com/ heather Bailey’s site at least weekly!
